INSURRECTION II

After Jeremy departed from the the cyclops, he went back into the ring and started enumerating his actions. He wondered if striking a deal with the beast was actually a good idea. After much consideration, he decided to carry on since he already strike the deal. it's not like he can take it back. He started organising his armies, the arranged their weapons and practiced more everyday. Diana noticed how the training changed but decided not to react based on that.

Meanwhile back at Wastelands, the three beast that stroked a deal with Jeremy decided not to act based on Jeremy's word. They convinced some trolls and cyclops which one of the trolls that was a guard on the chamber room was one of them. Their plan was to escape once battle escalates between the fairies and Darca and leave Darca to his fate.

Jeremy was getting the fairies ready for battle. they packed all their armors, their wheeled ballista and were before the shield. Jeremy was trying to unlock the shield when he heard a voice behind him;

"what do you think you're doing?"

He spun and saw Diana dressed in her royal robe. She looked around and asked;

"what's the meaning of all this? this doesn't look like a training kit to me so tell, what are you up to?

Jeremy exhaled and tried to calm her down but she flared up asking Jeremy to tell her what was going on. Jeremy then replied;

"okay, fine! we're about to raid the wastelands"

Diana was shocked by that; she then asked him again.

"what? raid the wasteland?

Jeremy then respond;

"yes! this might be the only chance we get, the wasteland is in chaos state now. the armies of Darca are turning against him so if we hit now; we might stand a chance to crush him".

Diana cut him off

"Without telling me, there won't be any battle. the fairies armies will not fight"

Jeremy tried to persuade him into agreeing with him but she responded;

"if you really wanna fight, do it alone. As for my army, the won't be part of this battle".

Jeremy tried to speak but her next word cut Jeremy like sword and he has to swallow what he was about to say. She said;

"The queen has spoken"

with that; she left the fields at bewilderment of Jeremy and all the fairy army.

At wastelands, things are not as they always seem, The armies obeys Darca without mumbling. He thought he has broken them to their limits where they can't do anything but Lydia thought not so. Darca noticed that some of the beast were always having meeting themselves but he didn't bother to know why. After all, what can they do? He's stronger than all of them put together.

Lydia approached him concerning the issue saying;

"something doesn't seem right about the armies; they no longer complains about how you treat them; they were also having meetings, something that has never happened ever since I've being in Wastelands"

Darca responded;

"maybe they have learnt how things is done around here; maybe they've learned to adapt to change"

She replied him back;

"I don't think so, when such things happens with a team; there must be sinister plan going on. have tried to check what they usually discuss in their meeting?"

Darca stood up and bragged about himself;

I am Darca, the most powerful creature in Wastelands. both the beast and fairies are afraid of me, I have nothing to fear. Whatever they were discussing does not scare me, Anything they wanna bring; they should bring it. if they raise hell, I will swallow it".

Lydia shrugged and said to him;

"I'm only telling you this so that you should be careful, I think those creatures are planning revolution. I have this word for you; Just when you think you're already standing; better watch your feet so you won't fall".

With that; he left Darca immediately while Darca ponders on her last sentence.

At Ezra, Diana was inside the council chambers, She was just sitting alone when suddenly, Jeremy bashed in through the door in his small self. The guards tried to stop him but she asked the guards to let him in. She walked up to Jeremy and said;

"you're looking really great in your little self; I hope you really have a good reason for disturbing my peace this afternoon"

Jeremy replied angrily;

"why did you stop us from attacking the Wastelands?"

Diana returned back to her seat and replied;

You are planning such an event and you didn't bother to tell me; don't you the safety of those armies is my responsibility?"

Jeremy walked closer to her and apologized, he then asked her permission to take the armies to battle but she turned him down. Jeremy was getting furious but he tried to keep it cool. immediately, Chance and Crane walked into the council chamber. Jeremy now said;

"common Diana, this....

Diana cut him in;

"it's queen Diana; queen Jeremy, queen".

Jeremy calmed down and said;

"Okay then, fine. please queen Diana, this is an opportunity that comes once in life time, our enemies out there are in chaos, if we strike now; we might be able to conquer them..."

Diana cut her in;

"is this all this is about to you? Victory?" if so; then you're no different from the beast.

Jeremy replied her;

"if not victory, what else? in my world it's called divide and rule"

Diana replied him sadly

"you're no different from Darca. I thought this was about achieving peace. And besides; this ain't your world, it's my world, my rule, my orders and as long as you live in it; you have to follow my rules. Understand? if you're not comfortable with it, then maybe you should consider leaving for your world".

Jeremy screamed and left the chambers, Chance tried to call Jeremy back but he left. Crane started praising Diana saying;

"This is actually a sign of maturity, knowing when to put emotions aside. You should let emotions cloud your judgement because if you, you're gonna be making treble mistakes. if you continue like this; you will make a very great queen".

Diana cut in and shut him up;

"shut up Crane, just shut it. And I will like to be left alone"

They both left the council chamber.

Jeremy ran to the garden panting, he pondering on every word Diana said, he suddenly screamed and a wave of energy supped out from him knocking leaves off all the plants and trees around him.

The cyclops waited on Jeremy's attack but nothing happened, the decided to take on Darca themselves. They plotted to rule Darca out and kill him.

Darca woke up in the morning and discovered that half of the beast were gonna, just as he was about to ask Lydia; his special guard ran to him and delivered a message. He said that a word came in few minutes ago about Jeremy holding his men hostage at the woods. Darca left immediately to the woods to rescue his men.

Darca entered the woods, everywhere was quite as he walked about. He didn't see any sign of battle scene or any hostage situation. Darca was sure about one thing. He was being followed.

Darca walked for a why and saw Jeremy pacing around the shield. he saw him and shouted;

"you? "

Jeremy surprisedly asked;

"what are you doing here?"

Darca didn't answer his question but instead, he asked about his men that he took hostages. Jeremy was surprised because he haven't seen any army all through the day. He responded in negative. He then asked Darca for help;

"I can't believe am saying this but I really need your help"

Darca was so surprised that Jeremy asked for his help, he responded;

"you? need my help? what might the be?

Jeremy then responded;

"I need to go home"

Darca was surprised about his question, he simply told him to walk back right into the ring to his home but Jeremy responded back that he wasn't talking about the ring, he told him that he need to go back to his world, to his people.

Darca then asked him a question;

"how did you come here?"

Jeremy responded that it was by putting on the ring. Darca suggested that he takes it off. Jeremy explained to him how he has tried but couldn't. Darca offered to help him with his powers and to also use the connection he has with the ring but after series of trials, the ring still stuck with Jeremy.

Meanwhile, the Minotaur and some of Darca's army were already surrounding the woods. one of the cyclops that was attacked with the Minotaur asked the him;

"it seems they were working together; what should we do?

The Minotaur looked at his army and said;

"The kid tried to play smart on us, kill them both".

When Darca saw that the ring cannot be taken away from Jeremy; he suggested that the team up and conquer the ring. he tried to educate Jeremy on things they can accomplish if they work together.

Jeremy turned him down saying;

"Never!, I actually came to you because I wanna go back to my normal life, not because I wanna help you or because I wanna rule with you. I just wanted my life back which you took from me because I'm certain those thugs that trapped me here were working for you; after all, they have no need of the ring cause it doesn't work on them".

Jeremy turned and started heading towards the boundary, Darca called him saying;

"hey kid, are you gonna leave like that? come back here. We haven't finished our discussion".

Jeremy walked back to him and said;

"You are right, we ain't done talking cause I got one more thing to say to you; take it from me, as long as I stays in this your world; I will make sure you never accomplish your desires".

immediately he said that; he turned to leave, Darca tried to stop him but an arrow hit him and bounce off his skin heading towards Jeremy but Jeremy caught the arrow. They looked around and saw about a couple hundred beast charging towards their direction. Jeremy thought they were coming for him but when the first beast got closer to Darca and swung his axe, Darca ducked and threw the beast over his shoulder. He turned to Jeremy and asked;

"is this really your plan?"

Jeremy smirked and responds while nodding;

"I know nothing about this plot but believe me when I tell you; l like it. just have fun".

With that, he started backing away towards the boundary.

As Jeremy was approaching the boundary using backwards; a cyclops ran from the back trying to hit Jeremy with his axe, Jeremy back flipped dodging the axe. He jumped and attacked the cyclops with a spinning heel kick. Another one with a sword charged at him, he tried to slashed Jeremy but he avoided the blade; grabbed the sword and attacked the beast with a jab punch which threw the beast away abandoning his sword with Jeremy. about other four soldiers charged at him but he rolled forward into their midst and chopped of the legs of one, pushed kicked the second one far away from him, slashed the third face in half. The fourth beast was behind him, Jeremy jumped up with an elbow punch backwards right into the face of the beast; the beast staggered backwards, he rolled and charged towards Jeremy's but Jeremy plunged the sword backwards right into the belly of the beast.

Two Minotaurs dashed towards Jeremy, Jeremy charged back at them. They were running towards each other, before the could crash; Jeremy rolled in between the Minotaur legs stopping behind him, before the Minotaur could turn; Jeremy was already on the air and with a quick spin; he chopped off the Minotaur's head.

The second Minotaur was talking back by what he saw, he stood at a place glaring at Jeremy while Jeremy glares back that he didn't noticed when a cyclops sneaked behind him and hit him with hammer which sent him crashing with a tree.

Jeremy crashed with a tree and fell with thud, he got up and saw about three cyclops and two Minotaurs heading straight for him; he punched in air and a wave of energy knocked down those beasts. He saw another eight from opposite direction heading to him also, he stretched his hand and a giant sword flew into his hand, with a giant swipe, he chopped down a huge three that crushed five out of the eight beast. He used super speed to kill the remaining three beast.
