“Then don’t.”
He snaps at me immediately.
“Just leave me be. This isn’t an invitation for you to touch me.”
For a second I just stare at him.
Then I snort.
Actually snort.
“Get over yourself.”
I snap at him, shaking my head.
“I was only trying to help, but fine. Do it yourself. I don’t need this.”
I snap and step away from him immediately before I say something worse.

What the hell is wrong with him?
One minute he’s staring at me like I’m the center of his universe and the next he acts like I’m personally ruining his life just by existing.
Men are exhausting.
I aggressively grab a glass from the cupboard before filling it with water.
