"You look tired."
Spencer says and I glance at her.
"Didn't sleep much."
I say and Luna and Spencer share a look.
"Sorry, did we wake you when we came in?"
Luna asks before glaring at Spencer.
"I told you to be quiet."
She says and Spencer frowns at her.
"I was!"
She says and Luna scoffs.
I finish my last sip of coffee, trying to hide my small smile.
"Why are you both up this early? I thought you were out late last night."
I say, turning back to the coffee pot. They stop their bickering and they turn to look at me again.
"We were, but we're making breakfast for Ava."
Luna says simply and for a second my hand with the coffee pot hover over the mug.
"Oh? Why? Did something happen?"
I ask, pretending not to care.
"No, it's her birthday."
