Vivian turned around to face Joe, panic flashing through her eyes as she considered what Marcus meant.
“Where the hell did you take my sister to, Joe?” She asked, her voice low, her eyes narrowed as she walked towards him.
“To a hospital just like you asked,” Joe answered, shrugging. He could tell that she was mad, but did not understand why. “Just not a publicly owned hospital,”
“F**k.” Vivian cursed, shivers running down her spine as she imagined what Marcus could do to her sister. Without a second thought, Vivian turned around and raced to her house, practically barreling through her front door. She rushed to her dining room table and picked up her phone.
