CHAPTER 32
“DAD AND CARA are going to take you both to the cinema and then out for dinner tonight, and then somewhere nice tomorrow; probably to the seaside maybe.”
“Where are you going?” Elliott finished up the last of his cereal: “Is there any more of this?”
“No, but there’s fruit or yoghurt if you like. Roger and I will be having a weekend away. I’ll be back tomorrow evening.”
“Will you be sleeping with him then?”
“Marlon – that’s none of your business. Roger is a good friend.”
“But is he your boyfriend?”
“Not at the moment, but we’ll see. Now eat up. Dad will be here to pick you up soon.”
“Hey Dad!”
Judy thought Elliott seemed quite pleased to see his father. Thank goodness there was no sign of Cara.
“Alright?” Judy could see Alan looking about in the hope of seeing B
