Friday night came too quickly. Between work, the PTA meetings, taking Travis to therapy and karate, and Noah to Mommy and Me at the library, Kristen was running on empty. But she’d be lying if she told herself she hadn’t been looking forward to her date with Jax.
Even though her schedule was jampacked, he was all she could think about. His handsome face slipped in and out of her thoughts hourly. The anticipation had built to an all-time high, and she was afraid she might bust at the seams.
