We left at dawn.
Throughout the night, I had tossed around unable to sleep even though Voridian held me tightly in his arms all night assuring me that everything was going to be fine. I wasn't assured if anything was going to be fine because we were already wasting time and sooner or later, Thane would run out of waiting and attack the innocent humans.
“Are you alright?” Voridian asked and I nodded in response but deep down, I was far from being alright because we had entered the shadow wasteland. This was what we had planned on doing but I was scared it could spell trouble or might not end up like we wanted but instead of having such thoughts, I just smiled at him.
There was no sun there and it looked like a forbidden land. Torin didn’t say much as we moved. He led us on foot
