The two men chatted for a while about general things. Frank was contemplating whether it was the right time of year to plant cabbages and Geoff told him a bit about a project he was working on at the foundry. “Do you work Frank?” he asked casually. The other man nodded, “I help out at Adams's farm in Brayton. Cycle up there every morning at six, then finish about four in the afternoon.
