on a rainy Saturday an ugly young lady was getting drenched in the rain and almost got hitten by a sport car. "what's wrong with you do you want to die" says the frightened driver " you should have just killed me am tired of this world and it's selfish creatures" Leah said "because you are tired of everything so you want implicate me with your murder" says the driver " No I wrote a letter in my pocket already I don't want to be selfish like the rest" Veronica said "aren't you done yet"says Daniel the owner of the car "am coming boss"Sky the driver said "boss he is your boss"then I looked up and meet his gaze His face is diamond shape with a full heart lip,I gasps in shock as my eyes locked in his fire like eyes. " kindly excuse us young lady we are in a hurry" Daniel said " no just crush my head with your car" Vera said " why do you want to kill your self"Daniel asked "because I have no reason to live" Vera said " Why don't you have a reason to live" asked Daniel furiously as he bend down next to her " am in debt that's why my dad borrowed money in my name and he died on Monday all my uncles are not ready to help,I don't know where to turn to so just kill me I beg of you to destroy me" " how touching" sky said " do you have a dream"Daniel asked yes but what's the point when I don't have what it takes to get it my dream is to be a fashion goddess which I went to a fashion school for that" " okay but pardon me I need to leave now" Daniel said as he gives Vera his card and address " call me tomorrow morning so we can meet okay " okay Vera said in tears Daniels POV Daniel got a call from his father " morning sir" was all he said as he picked up the call " don't greet me" says the angry father " I told you to come to the meeting early to finalize the deal but what did you do"Mr Brantford snorted "Dad I told you I don't want to be involved in Mafia like you,I want to be on my own" Daniel said with no strings of regret " oh my" was all Mr Brantford said before bursting to laughter mimicking him. " Hey son listen up,if you don't show up now I will call Atlas to come take your post and you know what that means"says his father. Atlas is Daniel younger brother from different mother actually.He's brave, fearless,and revengeful unlike Daniel,his major aim in life is to gain his father's wealth. " alright dad hand it over to him at least I get to face my career" Daniel said that to annoy his father,his dad and Atlas is not in good terms they don't have the father and son vibe between them which only God knows why. Daniels family is like a TV show his dad who is now a retired Mafia Lord , there's a post for a new Mafia Lord as the existing one was dethroned due to incompetency Mr Brantford thinks Daniel is the perfect one for the post. Atlas never saw his mother when growing up his mom Mrs Regina died when he was just two months old. " okay " Mr Brantford said as he cut the call. " where to sir" says sky to Daniel " Nathaniel place" Nathaniel has been Daniel best friend for decades now they fought play eat and dine together. Hey bro says Nathaniel as he opened the door " hi" Daniel said feeling down " what's wrong you seem upset" nathy asked " nothing" Daniel said " Danny are you fighting with me did I offend you talk to me nigga" Nathy said " you're always nagging"Daniel yelled " really" nathy said blankly " okay am not fighting with you if I were I won't be here talking to you and you should know that" " so what wrong" Nathy asked emotionally "it's this girl I don't even know where to start from today was eventful"Daniel said " oh I see what's coming you got a girl pregnant" Nathy teases him hoping he will at least he will put a smile on his face which works quite well. "you are not okay"says Daniel as he explained practically everything that happened from Vera to his father. " if I get you right you want to help her and her siblings but you don't Know how to" yes Daniel replied hastefully " do you love her"Nathaniel asked seriously "I don't think so" Daniel answered confused " you don't think so or know" Natty asked again more serious than the last one "no I have a fiancee remember" Daniel replied irritated " then give her to your father that's the only option" Says Nathaniel to Daniel with no hint of feelings.
