Episode 14: Raging Fire

At 12:00 midnight...

The night is dark and quiet. You hear nothing but the sound of a heart coated with fire.

Daisy: Fire serves as a guiding light in the darkness of your life. But sometimes, fire brings darkness to your life. When I was a little girl, I've heard this phrase from my mother "Don't play with fire" as it may cause many problems such as you might get hurt and it might burn our house as fire represents as a tool of destruction and pain. But that was just a phrase. Because this time, I want to play with fire to give darkness in their lives.

These are Daisy's words burning on her mind while walking away from the burning White House.

2 hours earlier...

In Salvatierra Residence, Rogelio and Ronaldo are now ready to go to Santa Barbara to find the secret house of Atty. Cruz.

Ronaldo: How long does it take to drive to Santa Barbara?

Ronaldo's question when he gets into Rogelio's car.

Rogelio: We can make it an hour and a half if there is absolutely no traffic.

Ronaldo: Then, let's go!

Standing at the door, Veronica immediately calls Christianna as she watches the departure of Rogelio's car bound to Santa Barbara with Ronaldo.

Veronica: Hello Christianna, if you're available tonight, come over to my house, I have a plan against Daisy White.

Dolores, meanwhile, is sulking and crying in her house while drinking wine. She still can't forget the embarrassment she faced at the opening of her D'Exhibit. To this day her Art Gallery remains closed because no one wants to enter after the scandal.

Because of her sadness, she remembered the moments when she was still Ronaldo's girlfriend.

***Flashback***

Ronaldo and Dolores were playing fire in the middle of a very cold night. When Ronaldo released the heat from his manhood, he even gave Dolores a warm kiss on the lips. Dolores was happy and pleased with her feelings.

Ronaldo: I love you, Dolores.

Dolores: I love you more, Ronaldo. I just want you to know how much I enjoy being with you. You give me happiness that reaches heaven.

Ronaldo: Me too, if only you knew that you were the only one who can make me happier.

Dolores: Fortunately, you met me. Otherwise, you will never taste the heaven your wife Veronica cannot give.

Ronaldo just laughed and kissed Dolores.

Dolores: Do you really love me more than your wife? More than my best friend?

Ronaldo: Yes, and more than my life.

The two kissed again like there was no tomorrow.

But things have changed when Magda came to their lives. There, their relationships became more complicated when Ronaldo fell in love with Magda the first he saw her.

Ronaldo: We have to stop this, Dolores.

Ronaldo was referring to stop their forbidden relationship.

Dolores: But, why? Did Veronica know that I am your real mistress?

Ronaldo: No.

Dolores: Is this because of Magda?

Ronaldo: Yeah, you ruined her and you embarrassed her. You destroyed an innocent life!

Dolores: Are you breaking up with me because of her innocence or because you loved her?

Ronaldo: No, but because you made me not to love you anymore.

Ronaldo was about to leave but Dolores tried to stop him. She went down on bended knee in front of Ronaldo while she was trying to open his pant zipper.

Dolores: Ronaldo, I'm begging you, please don't leave me, I'll do everything for you! I will make you a Governor of El Montego-

Ronaldo: Dolores, please stop!

He pushed Dolores away from him and immediately left the room.

Dolores: Ronaldooooo!

Then, Dolores was left broken and cried so hard. At that moment, her world stopped spinning and her dreams instantly disappeared.

After remembering the pain, Dolores threw away the glass of wine she was holding and cried even more. But in just a few seconds, she suddenly laughed, she cried back then she laughed.

Dolores: This is all your fault, Magda! I thank God you are now rotting underground! And you Ronaldo, if you think you are free of me, you are mistaken. Because I'm going to make you feel the pain that I'm experiencing right now! I will destroy you including Veronica!

Then, she cries again while laughing. She lays down on the floor while crying and she keeps saying Ronaldo's name.

In Renaissance residence, Veronica shares the story to Christianna about Arjun's death and on how to destroy Daisy White.

Veronica: I ordered my henchman to check the SCORPIA's funds in Escor Corp. Surprisingly, he saw a confession letter made by Arjun that will expose SCORPIA's existence and Magda Soliman's innocence of the terrorist attack. So, I ordered him as well that if Arjun won't be convinced, kill him if needed.

Christianna: Well, what's our plan against Daisy White about his death?

Veronica: A conspiracy to destroy Daisy White. We have to make it public that Daisy White and the woman wearing the lamb mask in the short video are the same.

Christianna: How?

Veronica: Through media of course! So, I need your role as a SCORPIA member to ruin her.

Christianna: That's where I trust you, it's indeed your cup of tea. I thought Col. Rogelio was here earlier? Since he's the Police Chief of SCORPIA, why not include him to our agenda against Daisy?

Veronica: You're right. He was here earlier, but he's with my husband right now on the way to the cabin house of Atty. Cruz along San Narciso St. in Santa Barbara to fetch evidence or documents about us.

Christianna: The Cabin House along San Narciso St. in Santa Barbara? That's not his secret house!

Christianna was shocked to hear regarding the location of Atty. Cruz's secret house.

Christianna: That house was bestowed on him by the Montana family after resolving the case of the murder of their only daughter.

Veronica: So, you're saying Elisa gave us the wrong information? Did she lie to us?

Christianna: Obviously! One thing for sure, Elisa knew about our existence! I'm going to make a call.

Veronica: It makes sense now why she just changed her phone number and moved to the condominium.

Christianna calls Col. Rogelio. As Rogelio is driving the car, it was Ronaldo who answered the call.

Ronaldo: It's me, Ronaldo.

Christianna: Atty. Cruz's secret house is located at San Lucas St. in Santa Barbara. It's the only White House along that street.

Ronaldo: What?! So, it's not the cabin house in San Narciso St?

Christianna: That was just a lie! Upon entering the house, find the metal filing cabinet, that's where we kept the documents and other evidence about us.

Christianna drops the call immediately.

Veronica: How did you know his secret house?

Christianna: Because we both kept the documents or evidence about us in that house. Unexpectedly, I never thought Arjun will betray us. Unfortunately, you never included me with this plan.

Daisy is also driving going to Santa Barbara to find Atty. Cruz's secret house and she wants to be sure that she should get there first before the SCORPIA. She's wearing a tight black latex hoodie coat and tight black latex jeans.

While driving she remembered that she was just hiding and listening secretly to Elisa's private talk with Veronica earlier, reason how she got the information about Atty. Cruz's secret house. However, there was one thing that made her surprised.

***Flashback***

Before Daisy left the condo unit, Elisa revealed something to her.

Elisa: Daisy, my father's secret house is not at San Narciso St. in Santa Barbara. It's not the cabin house.

Daisy: I'm sorry, what do you mean?

Elisa: My father told me everything about you. I know you're looking for evidence against SCORPIA. I knew everything about my father. He was a SCORPIA member. His secret house is located at San Lucas St in Santa Barbara. The lonely White House along that street.

Subsequently, Daisy sent a message to Loward and called him right after even she's driving.

Loward: Good evening D, thank you for calling, how may I assist you?

Daisy: I want you to go to the address I sent you and get Eliza out of her condo unit now!

Loward: As long as it's you.

Daisy: Do what we plan Loward because her life is in danger!

Loward: As you wish D!

Loward immediately dropped the call and left the Renaissance residence to look for Elisa.

Also, Daisy remembered Elisa's reminder while she was still at the condo unit.

Elisa: You have to move faster Daisy, some of the SCORPIA members knew where's his secret house located. I just have no idea why does Veronica have no idea about that house. The documents and other evidence against SCORPIA will be found in a metal filing cabinet. Here are the keys.

Elisa gave the keys to Daisy.

Daisy: Thank you for trusting me, Elisa.

Elisa: That's what my father told me during the opening of the D'Exhibit. To trust you when he's gone.

Thereon, Daisy even accelerated the drive so she could get to Atty. Cruz's White House first before the SCORPIA members.

After an hour, Daisy arrived at her destination and the White House of Atty. Cruz is in front of her.

Then, Daisy immediately enters the house. She went straight to the metal filing cabinet and opened it. There, she saw the documents and other evidence against SCORPIA.

However, before she leaves the house;

Daisy: When I was in the middle of the battle of the century, the evidence to prove my innocence was burned.

***Flashback***

Atty. Cruz: Magda, we have no hope of winning this case. Someone fired at the vehicle which contained evidence proving you to be innocent. All our evidence burned up!

These are the words of Atty. Cruz told Magda before the final hearing of her case on domestic terrorism began.

Magda felt nothing but frustration, sadness, and hopelessness.

Daisy: Fire symbolizes anger in the depths of your heart and emotions. In the name of vengeance and from the Darkside of my innocence, feel the fire burning in my soul.

These are Daisy's words while preparing to torch the White House of Atty. Cruz.

After 30 minutes,

Rogelio and Ronaldo arrived at their destination but the White House of Atty. Cruz is currently on fire.

Rogelio: Holy s**t! What the hell is going on?!!!

Rogelio couldn't believe what he is seeing. He feels so much great frustration and anger as their plans to get the documents and evidence are failed.

Rogelio: Whoever you are! Show yourself! If you are f*****g brave, fight back face to face with us! Do you think we're afraid of you?! We are SCORPIA and we will break you into pieces!

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is secretly smiling while watching Rogelio's wrath and frustrations to someone behind the burning house. He is happy inside that someone is planning against SCORPIA and get Magda's innocence back from being accused of domestic terrorism she didn't commit. And whoever behind this, Ronaldo is willing to help him or her. The reason why he was interested to find Atty. Cruz's secret house is to get the evidence and keep it by himself and give it to the mysterious enemy who has an agenda against SCORPIA.

Not too far away, while Daisy is in the car, she watches the two while facing Atty. Cruz's burning house. This time, she is holding the evidence proving that there is a secret mafia in the country called SCORPIA. She will use this to expose the terrorist institution to hunt them down by the authorities not connected to the Mafia State. But for her, exposing their existence is not enough. She needs more evidence to prove her innocence from the deadly terrorist attack in town.

Daisy: To expose your existence is not enough. What I need is more than a blazing justice and an infinite punishment for all SCORPIA members. Just a little patience, the punishment that your brotherhood deserves will soon be enacted!

As it is said, since Daisy is holding the evidence proving that there is a Mafia in the Philippines, expect the next events that you will not be able to handle.

At the beginning of the story, it was said that this is not a story about forgiveness. Therefore, hold your breath, do not close your eyes and expect more explosions, more manipulations, more lies, more betrayals, more secrets, more revelations, more enemies will fall, and justice will soon be reached.
