Akira's POV~ I felt alive again when I talked to my brother. Maybe I should not make people away from me. Yesterday, he took care of me like a baby. He pampered me a lot. I felt tears brimming in my eyes when I hurt him. "Aki. Shall we leave?"I heard a scream downstairs. "Yes bhai", I said. I packed my bag and went downstairs. I saw bhai standing with a box in his hand. "What is that?"I asked. "Oh this...Your breakfast. You can have it with your friend as you don't want to eat now, "he said. I nodded happily. Soon, we sat on the car. Bhai stopped his car in the nearby bustop. "Thanks bhai", I said while getting out of the car. He smiled, looking at me. "Be careful," he said. I nodded. After sitting for some time, I saw Harshi coming on her scooty. She stopped the scooty and looked at me coldly first. But her expression changed when she saw bandages on my arms and knees. She immediately put the vehicle on stand and came towards me. "What the hell happened to you?"Harshi panicked. I smiled, looking at her. Although she is angry, she still cares for me. She is scolding me, and I just smile at her as I feel happy when she scolds me like that. "Have you become deaf now? Tell me what happened?"Harshi said. "You are now talking to me," I asked, smiling. She immediately jerked me away. She just went to her scooty. "Will you come or can I leave?"she asked coldly. "I will come," I said and sat on her scooty. Finally, we reached school. I was waiting for her to park her scooty. Harshi walked away from me. "Harshi.. Listen to me," I said. "Tell me then," Harshi said while folding her hands. "Harshi.. Please..I didn't mean to hide my identity from you," I said. "I just don't want you to misunderstand me. There are some reasons not to tell you. At first, I thought you would be leaving me like others, but you didn't. I didn't know when our friend grew so much. I didn't know when we shared so many things about each other. I didn't know when you became so important that I wasn't ready to lose you. I was afraid to tell you the truth. I didn't wanna lose you at all, "I said while holding her hand. "If you trust me, then you wouldn't have hesistated," Harshi said. "I tried Harshi. I tried. I didn't want my true best friend. I was selfish, "I said while tears pooled in my eyes. I saw Harshi also stood with tears. "Did you think I will also be friends with you as you are rich?"Harshi asked. "No, Harshi. Absolutely not. I never thought like this. I had some reasons. I just wanted some free life, Harshi, "I said. Harshi just looked away. "I am sorry, Harshi. I was selfish, but I don't regret it. You are far more important for me, "I said. "I am sorry. Please forgive me, "I said while holding my ears. "It's so hard to be angry with you," Harshi huffed while crying. "Please forgive me," I pouted. "I will if you promise me something," Harshi said. "What is it?"I asked desperately. "That you will not hide anything from me anymore. You will always tell me what is going on in your mind, "she said. "I promise," I said without wasting a min. "Are you sure?"she asked. "Yes," I said. "Okay. I will forgive you, "she said. "Thank you, Harshi," I said while hugging her tightly. She also hugged me tightly. We both laughed at each other. "Let's bunk classes, today", she said. "Okay," I said. We both went outside of the school by the backside. Harshi took her scooty. She started the scooty, and I sat behind her. We both laughed, chatted, and ate our tiffin. I totally enjoyed the time, as for the first time I didn't feel guilty that I hid something from her. I felt free. "May be it's start of new chapter," I said to myself. After spending the whole time outside, we both sat in a park at last. "We had fun after a long time," Harshi said. "Yeah. I enjoyed a lot today, "I said. "Will Uncle and Aunty scold you if they get to know that, you bunked classes?"I asked her. "Nope. I already had a feeling that I would talk to you today. So I said to them before itself, today I'm not attending classes, "Harshi said. "Ohhh," I said. "But Aki, tell me why do you let people bully you?"she asked while holding my hand. "I don't know. I.."I stuttered. "Aki. I observed that you always think low of yourself. That's wrong, Aki, " she said. "What can I do? Am I looking good? I think I deserve their hate, "I said while crying. Harshi immediately hugged me. She caressed my hair softly. "No, Aki. Nobody in this world deserves hate, "Harshi said. "First, you need to work on your self Esteem", Harshi said. "Harshi...I don't think.."I was cut off in middle by her. "Don't you dare speak anything. Do you consider me as your friend?"Harshi asked. "Yes. You are my best friend, "I said. "Then let me take care of you. I know what to do with my friend, "Harshi said. "Okay," I said while lifting my hands up. "Very good," Harshi said. After spending some time in the park. We both went to the bus stop. "Why can't I drop you?"Harshi whined for the nth time. "Come on, Harshi. You have to come round way again if you drop me at my home, "I said. "But I don't have any problem," Harshi said. "But I can't let you go on this scooty roaming here and there," I said. "I'm not a kid," Harshi fake glared. "You are," I mumbled. "What did you say?"Harshi asked. "Ah...nothing", I said. "Ah. See, my brother came," I said. I sighed in relief when I saw the car. "Ah!!"Harshi whined. "It's okay, Harshi. I don't want you to get tired, please, "I said. "Okay," she huffed. "Bhai.."I said. The car window has been getting down. "Aki, let's go," Bhai said. When she saw my brother, she huffed, looking at him. "Okay. Bye!"she said while ignoring my brother. "Harshi..Actually.. My brother is.."I was cut off by Harshi. "Aki.. I don't give importance to stranger's words," she said. "Excuse me?"I heard my brother voice. "You believe me, right?"Harshi asked while ignoring my brother's presence. I nodded and said yes. "Then I don't care about others.."she said. She put her helmet and started the scooty. I saw my brother getting down from the car angrily. "Bye, Aki!"she said and went off before my brother could get her. I smiled at her. I smiled at her boldness
