Amber POV Running keep running, you can do this (I kept telling myself) so close to freedom I can hear him hot on my tail "Amber get back here right now!" hearing him, the one man I truly fear getting closer, I see the pack border and decide to jump for it just as he reaches out to grab me and when I turn around I'm meeting with a very pissed off looking Alpha.. "Mark my words Amber rose I will find you and you will be mine!" The panic started to rush in again and started to run again until I couldn't no more, exhausted I collapsed onto the cold dark forest floor and started to feel the darkness creeping in but before I fully succumbed to the darkness I was hit with the most amazing sent I ever smelt of summer rain and pine wood and then my wolf perked up the 4 letter word I've been waiting to hear MATE then my world went dark... *Flash Back* I don't really remember much about my parents, only that they were killed in a horrible accident when i was a little pup, which made me become the orphan of the Black Moon Pack to where my nightmare really began... All the pack members used to tease me, beat me up on a daily basis. It wasn't until i had started to develop into my body more into a young woman is when i noticed the pack Alpha Blake starting to take more notice of me and got the pack members to back off and leave me alone. At first, I thought that he was just being a caring Alpha and that I was finally becoming a member of the pack oh boy was I ever wrong. At first, I could always feel his eyes staring at me constantly whenever he was around then came the touching of my ass whenever he walked past and the subtle comments of how much of a young woman i was growing into then one day I had been called into his office as soon as I walked into his office I heard the door slam behind me and him ordering his Beta to hold me to which he whispered into my ear "my god Amber you are so beautiful" while groping my boobs which made me sick to my stomach then he tried to kiss me which resulted me biting his lips which caused him to scream in pain and when the blood started pouring out it made him angry he screamed at me "You f*****g b***h how dare you! I am your Alpha and you will do nothing while I can do what I like to you because you are mine" I closed my eyes ready for the hit, but it never came. "Beta Jordan take her to the dungeons and chain her up with silver, I'll deal with her later" that's when the constant beatings began especially when I wouldn't obey his orders and then the last visit came where he tried to r**e me but I managed to break free and run for my life anywhere had to be better than where I was. Aiden POV Ugh so over doing paperwork as I stare down the mountain pile of paper work that just keeps piling up and seems never ending rubbing my hands over my face I feel someone trying to contact me via mind link "what now I requested to not be disturbed", it was my best friend and beta Travis "sorry to disturb you alpha but this is important the patrol group in the east have smelt a intruder come onto pack lands but can't find them anywhere" I sighed while looking at the pile of paper work that needs to be done and think to myself I really need to get a assistant or someone to help with all this paper work "okay Travis meet me in front of the pack house and I'll come help with the search" damn this intruder hopefully not more rogues, I get up from my chair and stretch out then head towards the pack house. when I arrive at the pack house I see my beta and the patrol group ready to go looking frustrated and disappointed that they have to come to me for help which I don't mind gets me away from the paper work for a little bit, "alright guys let's head off and find this intruder quickly" as we started to head east towards where they picked up the scent I suddenly stop in my tracks and get hit with the most amazing scent of I ever smelt my wolf Lucas perks up and confirms what I was thinking I found my mate after looking for a few years now my beta gives me a questioning look and before I can respond Lucas takes over and starts to run towards where the scent is coming from and when I arrive to where the smell is coming from the scene breaks my heart and makes Lucas whine my poor mate is laying unconscious on the forest floor covered head to toe in bruises and cuts "what has happened to you my little wolf" being ever so careful I pick up my fragile little mate into my arms and rush towards the pack hospital mind linking my beta Travis "make sure the doctors are ready to go as I'm on my way there now with my mate" before he can respond back I close my mind link and focus on my mate and whisper to her "hang on my little wolf everything will be okay I promise". Amber POV The nightmares never stop and the pain never heals, Alpha Blake gets his Beta Jordan and Gamma Alex to hold me back by my arms and he starts to punch and kick me all over then stops and leans over to whisper in my ear "all you have to do is beg and surrender yourself to me and all of this will stop" he had his usual dark smirk on his face as he pulls away and awaits my answer before I respond I spat in his face and yelling at him "I will never be with a prick like you or become your personal s*x slave!" Which of course gets returned with a hard smack to my face which causes me to see little stars as my vision starts to blur before I pass out on the cold floor in the pack dungeons. The fear jolted me awake then I quickly shut my eyes again then slowly started to adjust to the bright lights and take in my surroundings... where am I? a hospital how did I get here then I start to have a panic attack oh no oh no he found me I tried to stand up to try and escape but as soon as I stood up pain shot through my entire body causing me to fall back onto the bed then suddenly a nurse walks in and causes me to panic more and start crying she quickly notices the state I'm in and does her best to calm me down "oh I am so sorry! I'm not going to hurt you I promise my name is Leah and I'm here to help you", I stopped crying and looking at her still unsure if I am in any danger. I asked "where am I?" she smiled at me before answering "why you are in the Silver Moon pack, the alpha brought you in a few days ago after finding you unconscious in the forest, I'll go let the doctor and Alpha know that you are awake". I watch as she walks out of the room and relief washes over me. Thank god he hasn't found me but what if this Alpha tries to take me back? Panic starts to rise again. I close my eyes to try and stop the threatening tears that want to pour out, then the smell of summer rain and pine wood hit my senses and instantly calmed me down. I slowly opened up my eyes and took a good look at this 6ft something handsome man that is my mate. He had stunning jet-black hair that I just wanted to run my fingers through and the most gorgeous emerald eyes that I just wanted to get lost into forever, the most kissable lips I have ever seen and perfect abs and muscles he was perfect, noticed he was staring at me as well like how I was with him and so I quickly closed my eyes tight and looked away while blushing. Aiden POV As soon as I received word that my mate was awake, I dropped everything that I was doing and headed straight to the hospital as I arrived. Leah, the attending nurse for my mate, came up to me and explained how she was doing and that she had a panic attack but quickly got her to calm down which broke my heart more and made me want to kill whoever has caused this pain even more and that her bruises and cuts were almost fully healed and gone away, as I got closer to her room her scent Vanilla and Roses washed over me which made Lucas super excited to see our mate again as I entered her room I first noticed that she was checking me out but quickly shut her eyes tightly and looked away from me blushing then she smelt me and started to relax a bit more which relieved me a bit and I just stood there in complete awe of her beauty, the way her golden hair reached halfway down her back and her mesmerizing blue eyes that I wanted to keep looking into forever, her soft pink kissable lips I couldn't wait to find out how sweet they tasted and all her gorgeous curves damn how did I get so lucky to have such a gorgeous perfect mate in my life. I cleared my throat which got her attention again after quickly turning away from me, grabbing her hand and feeling the sparks ignite with our touch through the mate bond was simply amazing, and I never wanted the feeling to go away, "Hi little wolf my beautiful mate my name is Aiden, and I am the Alpha of Silver Moon may I know your name and what happened?" she looked at me nervously before responding "hello Alpha Aiden my name is Amber, and I'm sorry but right now I don't feel like talking about what has happened right now but when I'm ready I'll tell you everything I promise", suddenly he picks me and places me in his lap and cuddles me nice and tight then whispers in my ear "it's alright my little wolf I'll wait as long as you need and will always be here for you and to always take care of you I promise", I chuckle to myself "you don't have to call me Alpha Amber as we are mates and equal partners no matter what, and you are also the future Luna of my pack, so welcome to the Silver Moon pack"
