Prologue
"NOOOOO!" Samantha Noah yelled as she witnessed her friend Hunter pushed the send button.
You see, Samantha wanted to confront her brother for stealing her idea of getting the credit for ordering a wine cellar for her dad as his fifty-fifth birthday. She always ran away whenever she was faced with the inevitable situation of confronting someone. She did not mind her credit being stolen or getting treated unfairly by her mother for doing something that she clearly did not do.
"Sam, my dear Sam, I don't mean to sound sexist, but you seriously need to grow a pair of-"
"You sound sexist." Sam clearly tried to change the subject of discussion.
"Also. how many times do I need to tell you that you are not allowed to touch a girl's phone! You never know what she owns! That is a clear case of invading someone's privacy and I can legally sue you."
"Are you done?" Hunter gave her a bored look. "First of all, you are not just any girl. You are Samantha Noah. You are the nun. Not in a million years am I going to find a nude in your phone because you are totally scared of falling for someone."
"Okay. First of all, shut up. secondly, I am not scared of falling in love. I am scared of falling for the type of guy who gets excited only when to show him my body. Also, I have some standard you know."
"You, my dear friend, are about to graduate high school in two years and are yet to have a single experience of kissing someone. Now, what does that say about you?" Hunter asked.
"You can always kiss me you know." Suddenly a devilishly handsome guy intervened in their conversation.
The guy looked straight in Samantha's eyes as she internally blushed.
"Will you shut up! Guys, I am fine with just the way I am! And you," She directed her gaze towards the eye candy and continued, "You need to understand what it means when I say that it's not a good habit to interrupt when two people are conversing. Who am I kidding? You are never gonna listen to me anyway."
In reply to this, he just shrugged and continued staring at her.
With this whole scene going on, Samantha only had one question in her mind. 'How did I ever meet a guy like Cain?'
