Lilac sat up in the bed of one of the guest rooms and looked beside her, Ethan was still sleeping he had a problem with being by himself in such a huge room in the castle even at the age of one and zero "Ethan time to wake up" she gently nudged him and he mumbles and slowly opens his eyes "g..good morning miss Lilac" he sits up and stretches "are we going home?" he says this with a big yawn and she nods "yes time to get ready I would rather be at home" she gets out of bed and tried to make her self presentable in the only dress she had brought which she was already wearing. A knock on the door as Lilac finishes helping Ethan startles them both, Lilac goes to answer it and a maid tells her the emperor is waiting in the dining room and to not let him wait long. Lilac closes the door and rolls her eyes "that man is impossible its all about him and what he wants never about anybody else come on lets go before were in trouble" they leave the room holding each others hands and when they get to the dining room their informed the emperor already moved onto something else. "Well than lets go Ethan no point in hanging around" they go outside and repack their wagon and leave back to home. About a day later Ethan and Lilac are in their orchards when somebody comes riding up on a huge black horse. "You left without telling me first!" Lilac looks up and notices its king Onyx "sorry your majesty when we got to the dining hall we were told you already left so we came home to continue working in our fields". Onyx grumbles "fine well I wanted to give Ethan his gift which is this horse when I was young I had a good horse myself and became quite a horseman". Lilac motions Ethan forward and Ethan bows and says thank you before taking the horse to the stables leaving Lilac and Onyx in the orchard by themselves. "Thank you for the gift he is a really good boy truly" she curtsies for him and Onyx comes closer and puts a hand on her cheek "you know your beautiful you have grown into such a beautiful woman but sadness fills those eyes that the untrained eye can miss" his deep blue gaze stares into her emerald eyes and she turns away "your saying nonsense Onyx" he makes her turn back to him "I am not spilling nonsense I was complimenting you" Lilac sighs "I dont need to be complimented" she turns away and starts working on a tree. Onyx gets offended "whats wrong with you woman? everybody wants my attention or tries to get it". Lilac rolls her eyes "your majesty I have no interest in you, only my farm and Ethan and providing provisions for you and your family", Onyx thinks for a moment and grabs her hand and looks into her eyes again "Lilac what can I do to make you see me more than just your emperor?" , she pulls her hand away "why do you need me to see you in any other way than my king? why are you so hell bent on this". Onyx's eyes soften "because we can still be friends just like when we were young we can try even harder now that were adults". Ethan comes running up to them and smiles "he is perfect your majesty thank you!, miss Lilac can we go have lunch now I am getting hungry". Onyx asks if he can join them and Lilac agrees but warns him it does not compare to the castle, as they walk back to the home onyx offers his arm which Lilac refuses but she holds Ethan's hand and as they arrive to the home the kings carriage waits there for his departure. They all go inside and Onyx looks around "you both have a lovely home" he sits at the table next to Ethan who brought out sandwiches as Lilac goes outside to serve the kings two footman before coming back in to eat. "So I thought about something you two" both look at him "I am staying the night! to learn to farm tomorrow" both stare at him in shock.
