Hustle, bustle, hustle, bustle the commoners life is constant working only to stop when the sun goes down for most people at least. Out in the fields a hard working man plows a field and stops to wipe his sweat and hears his wife call from the porch for dinner. He puts his tools away and goes inside and the home smells of a beef stew it makes him smile and he goes up to his wife and kisses her cheek. She laughs and pats his shoulder "dont do that your dirty clean up first". The man smiles "dont be such a priss my love" he washes himself in a basin. A five year old girl comes into the kitchen with a book in her hand "hi daddy". "there is my little carrot" he picks up his daughter and her red curls flop in response". "I read this" she shows him a picture book "I liked it" she smiles brightly. "That looks like a good book maybe you will read it to me sometime". She shrieks in happiness as the mother serves them and tells them to sit down and eat. The family prays before eating and dig into the meal. The watcher family has been known for their amazing vegetables and fruits they were a huge successful farm and Mr. watcher always said it was because of hardwork and love where as little Lilac thought fairies helped her father but she was only five years old after all. They owed it all to their previous emperor king James who found favor in them as farmers and granted a beautiful home and land in exchange for the best vegatables and fruits which was no problem for the watchers they excelled at it. The family enjoyed after dinner activities with each other and Mr. watcher placed his daughter into her bed later and kissed her forehead "sleep well my carrot". No response comes from Lilac due to her already sleeping. They both leave her room with smiles and go to their own room. "Shall we tell her yet?" Mrs. watcher slides into bed. "Perhaps soon lets make sure you carry this child for awhile first" he climbs into bed and takes her into his arms "I want to make love to you so bad, your so beautiful". Mrs. watcher blushes and smiles "you charm me as always my love but we must becareful to make sure I can deliver" she places her hands on the little bulge and smiles. He kisses her forehead "yes yes of course". Unfortunately they were not lucky and the child came to early, leaving Mrs. watcher in pain physically and emotionally. Lilac would watch her mother sew what looked like a blanket and look dull in her eyes but when she asked, her mother smiled and said she was alright. Lilac did all she could to bring smiles to her parents faces and half the time her mother smiled. One night after two unsuccessful conceieves Mrs. watcher told her husband she was pregnant and they brought a priest to their home to bless the house and Mrs. watcher, this event Lilac saw and asked what they were doing her father thought it was best to finally tell her about the miscarriages and the child along the way leaving Lilac happy for a sibling of her own. Lilac sat under a apple tree thinking about her new brother or sister what kind of friendship would they have? would she make dresses for her or shorts and shirts for him? either way she was excited to share her parents, her farm, her life. Then that day came she heard her mother scream like she never did before and at the end of what Lilac thought was a nightmare her father let her in their room revealing her mother holding a new sibling, a son, a brother!.
