Addie's POV

    "Oh Dad." I sighed, looking up at the sky.

    'Why did he have to see mom? I know she's his mate and all but... I'm his daughter, that should mean something.'  I thought making Ally whimper.

    'I miss dad too. And if we are being honest, I don't feel anything when we are with Tai. I feel like we should move on.' Ally admitted taking me by surprise.

    'Ally, if we break things off with him then we can't be Alpha anymore.' I told her, a little upset.

    'I know, that's why I didn't want to say anything. But I'm not willing to have pups with anyone but our mate.' 

    'Ally, do you know how low the chances are for us to have a second chance mate?' I asked, getting more upset.

    'That's what I've been meaning to tell you Addie. The wolf you thought was our mate... he was our brother. His name was Diego Santi Ramirez. He has a twin brother by the name Nathan Santi Ramirez.' Ally told me leaving me in shock.

    All this time I thought I lost my mate but I lost my brother? I have more family, why didn't my dad tell me? I need to call Karma.

    "Looking for me kiddo?" I heard a masculine voice say before turning around.

    "What are you doing here?" 

    "I figured it was about time for you to meet me in person. Karma, at your service." He said with a smirk giving me butterflies.

Karma's POV

    'Mate.' Tierce whimpered, making me sad.

    'She's not ours, we've been through this. She has a boyfriend.' I scolded my wolf.

    'Just let our scent outtt. I want her to know she's ours and we are hers.' Tierce begged making me roll my eyes.

    "I have so many questions to ask you Karma." Mate said making me give her my attention.

    "Like what?" I casually asked before escorting her back to the pack house.

    "How many brothers and sisters do I have?" She asked curiously making me stop walking.

    "Six blood related, five adopted." I said bleakly before walking again.

    "Tell me their names." She pleaded making me go stiff.

    "Adoptive family insists of Jasmine, Haze, Erica, Lacey, and Joey. Now the ones that are blood related are kind of hard to explain. For example your Uncle Alex I consider your brother because Paris raised him as her own after their parents died. Outside of that there is Diego, Nathan, Sue, Izzy and Eric. Diego unfortunately passed away a year, three months, two days and five hours ago." I slowly explained as we reached the house.

    "Where are they now?"

    I was about to explain when I was rudely interrupted by a jackass growling at me.

    "Tai." I grunted before growling back at him.

    "Karma. What is he doing here babe?" He asked making me growl at the name he calls her.

    "I just wanted to know more about my family." She whispered sadly, looking away from him.

    "I was close to your dad, I could tell you all about them." He said reassuringly making me roll my eyes.

    "I don't want to know about my mom and dad, I already know everything. I want to meet my brothers and sisters." 

    "Your what?" 

    "Tai, this doesn't concern you so you don't need to know. Unless you are her mate you don't need to know anything that happens in her life." I said aggressively before Addie would tell him what I told her.

    "I am her mate." He said making me growl and push him against a wall.

    "No you aren't." I growled threateningly before Addie tried to pull me off of him.

    As soon as I felt sparks on my arms I looked into her eyes. Her amazing green eyes with specks of brown and red in the center.

    'I want to kiss her so bad.' I complained to Tierce making him laugh.

    'How do you think I feel, I want to mark her so bad.' Tierce whined making me laugh.

    'Mate is so sexy.' 

    I could feel my eyes get darker making me snap out of the trance before walking away. Walking to my room I couldn't help but think about Addie, hoping she got the hint that I am her mate. Quietly praying to the Moon Goddess for Addie to get rid of Tai faster.

Addie's POV

    'Go to mate!' Ally said for the millionth time in the past twenty minutes.

    'I am so shut up!'  I yelled at her, finally getting her to stay quiet.

    I stood in front of the door for a minute, debating if I should even go in or not. Before I knew what was happening I was sitting on his bed, waiting for him to come out of the bathroom.

    'Ally! Why the hell did you take control?!' I yelled at her while she ignored me and kept wagging her tail.

    I kept mentally yelling at Ally until I heard the door open. Standing there in surprise was Karma in a pair of shorts, his hair wet as water dropped onto his tanned chest. He had leg muscles, broad shoulders, a six pack, soft red and black hair with slight curls, his arms were pretty muscular as well.

    "Addie, what are you doing here?" He asked, truly surprised.

    "I wanted to talk to you about earlier." I said sternly.

    I instantly saw regret in his eyes as he held his breath. Listening carefully I  could practically hear his heart shatter.

    "Did you know? Is that why you left when I was little?" 

    "Yeah, I knew. The second you were born I knew it was you, your parents knew too. That's one of many reasons why I couldn't stay with you guys." I could feel my anxiety raise as he took a minute to collect his thoughts and continue.

    "A few months after you were born your mother held a meeting. She told everyone under twenty-three to go to another pack except Lucas, Alex, Eric, Talon and you. So I left, did tons of research and planning before I finally pieced together who was after your family. By the time I got there your mother and two uncles died, slaughtered by someone they trusted when they were kids. I couldn't look at you, Lucas, or Fin, I just couldn't. Your Father lost his Mate, you lost your Mother, and Lucas lost his Carrier."

    I watched as Karma explained what happened to him a while back. Nobody ever told me what happened to the Pack my Mother led into battle. Nobody told me she let the children and teens leave so they would survive. Nobody told me they knew I had siblings or a Mate.

    Seeing tears roll down his face I instantly hugged him. He has so much guilt and pain bottled inside that it's sad, I want him to let it all out for me.

    "Karma, let it out. Cry, yell, scream, shift, talk, anything. I will always be here for you, from now until forever."

    "There's no such thing as 'forever.'" He mumbled in my neck as he wrapped his arms around me.

    "Then be my forever." I whispered, hoping he wouldn't hear that cheesy ass line.

    I heard his laugh echo in the room making me know he heard me. Instantly feeling my face heat up I hid in his chest, loving all the sparks. Feeling his chest vibrate more I looked up at his face.

    "You're a hybrid?" I asked surprised.

    "Yeah... Werewolf, Lion and Vampire." Karma said slightly embarrassed as he changed his eye color from sea blue to golden brown, black, and red.

    'And to think Mate couldn't get any sexier.' Ally purred while I agreed.

    "You're so amazing." I whispered before kissing his cheek.

    "That's all you Mate." Karma whispered before softly kissing me.

    "Do you want to go out with me later?" He asked while staring into my eyes.

    "Depends what time, I have a date with Tai." I answered.

    Karma let out a deep growl before kissing me again. Casually biting my bottom lip as he growled again while saying "You're mine, not his."

    "I know, just wanted to see how you would react. But I need to break up with him before we leave so you do need to give me a time." I reassured him while I smiled brightly and played with his tangled hair.

    "Is five alright with you?"

    "Sure, I'll be ready." I said with a shy smile before kissing him one last time.

   "Just one more thing." Karma said, stopping me from leaving as he went to the bathroom.

    "For you my Love." Taking out flowers he gave them to me making my eyes lit up.

    Leaning in to smell them I smiled. "Lillies are my favorite." 

    "They were your mothers favorite too." Karma smiled down at me before kissing me again.

Karma's POV

    'I'm in love with her already.'  Tierce admitted while I picked out what to wear.

    'Me too, I can't wait to hear her laugh. Not to mention see when her eyes light up, her surprised face, see her with one of our pups...' I kept going on and on until Tierce blocked me out making me laugh.

    'I'm so glad we are both immortal. I literally have forever with her as long as nobody tries to kill us.'

    "Found the perfect outfit." I said to myself as I started to get undressed.

    Throwing on a red and black checkered shirt, denim jeans, light red jacket, and nike running shoes I looked in the mirror. Quickly brushing my hair and putting it to the side. Glancing in the mirror again I changed my eye color to a deep green.

    Why am I wearing so much red? Simple, it's Addie's favorite color. I also have another jacket on my bed for Addie in case she wants it or gets cold. Either way I will be more than happy to give it to her. The precious little mate of mine, ugh I can't wait to see her again.  

    Quickly pulling out my phone I texted the first name to pop into my head.

    'Hey Jaz, is everyone ready for the surprise?'

    'Of course! We are so excited to finally see her! What does she look like?'

    'You'll have to to wait and see tonight.' 

    'Well, aren't you a buzz kill. Alright, I'll wait like everyone else.'

    'Alright, we will be on our way in twenty seven minutes.'

    With that I put away my phone and went down stairs. Quickly grabbing an apple and banana, putting them in my jacket pockets. 

    "Karma." I heard him growl making me roll my eyes.

    "Beta." I grunted before biting into a granola bar.

    "Look at me you bastard." Tai said forcefully making me laugh.

    "Sorry, I don't look at people beneath me. Especially when they disrespect me and my family." I responded casually while leaning onto the kitchen counter.

    "Just tell me the real reason you came here." Tai sighed, giving up.

    "I thought it was obvious why I am here. I came for my Mate, the reason I live and breathe."

    "Then why are you talking to my girlfriend? Just take your Mate and leave." He growled as I smelt her glorious scent.

    "I am not your girlfriend and I never will be." Her voice held so much authority making me turn to her with a wide smile on my face.

    "Addison, you look so breathtaking." I whispered as I looked her over.

    She was wearing a red strapless top that hugged her breasts and upper stomach, letting her belly piercing and a tattoo show. Her tight black jeans hugged every inch of her legs making her look like a model. Of course her black nike shoes were paired with it along with her red leather wallet. Ugh, talk about perfection.

    "Thank you Karma." She purred as she walked to me.

    "Your-"

    "Yes, I am Karma's Mate. I would appreciate it if you left my pack Tai." Addie interrupted Tai, her head held high.

    "The law states that the Male of the broken relationship is to take over a Pack after the split." Tai said making me roll my eyes.

    "That is false in many ways. That rule is literally the last of many options an Alpha and Beta are given. Addie found her Mate therefore can keep her title. Even if she didn't want to be Alpha anymore Addie can decide if she wants to give it to the Beta or a family member. Given the fact you didn't know she has blood family alive it is only natural for you to assume the title would be yours but she also has a Mate. You will never be Alpha of this pack Tai." 

    After my little rant the room got tense, and I mean TENSE. Tai looked like he wanted to rip me apart, Addie was ready to jump on Tai if he even made a move in my direction and I was glaring daggers at Tai.

    "Babe, we should get going. Our reservations are going to expire in an hour." I informed her causing her to look at me.

    "Alright, let's go." Grabbing my hand with a smile she practically skipped outside to my truck.

    "Where are we going and why do we need to get there within an hour?" Addie asked after a few minutes in silence.

    "That, my love, is a surprise. But I promise that you will absolutely love where we are going." I reassured as I looked into her crystal blue eyes.

    "A lot of people claim to know me but they don't, so how do you know if the last time you saw me I was in diapers?" 

    "I can't tell you how I know without giving away the surprise. But since you are positive I don't know you why don't you tell me something nobody knows?"

    "Do you have anything in mind?" She asked, as if she was so mysterious.

    "Do you want to be Alpha?"

    "No... I mean yes? It's complicated. I want to protect my Pack but I don't think it's my time yet. I want to explore and actually do what I've always wanted now that I don't have to constantly watch Lucas. But I also want to be with you all the time, and guide Becca through life, not to mention stay with my friends."

    "So what is your dream? I mean going off of what you said I have to assume you would have to constantly move and not be near here." I asked even though I know the answer, how could I not know what my other half wants?

    "I want to be a musician, I can play many instruments and my vocals are above average. But I feel like I should stay here and protect the Pack, I don't trust them with Tai."

    "I promise after tonight you will know what to choose. But if I were you I would chase my dreams, you can be an Alpha later in life."

    "Thanks for hearing me out Karma." Addie rubbed my arm softly making me purr.

    "You're welcome, I will always be there when you need someone to talk to. But on another note, we are here." 

    "Where exactly is 'here'?" Addie questioned, looking around the truck.

    "You will see in a minute." I smiled at her as I got out of the truck, walking over to her side and opening her door.

    "You aren't going to kill me right?" 

    Addie looked up at me as I chuckled and stroked her cheek. "I will never hurt you, you're my everything." I whispered before kissing her forehead.

    "Then let's go, I've been waiting all day for this surprise."

    Grabbing her hand I led her to a lake. There were lanterns scattered around so there would be enough light to see but not enough to stop the stars from shining brightly. Near the lake were two picnic tables, every place having a name tag and person in it's place.

    "Who are they?" She whispered lowly, showing her side shy.

    "I don't know, let's find out." I whispered in her ear before calling out to them.

    "Hey, guys what's up?!" Feeling Addie stiffen I laughed.

    "Karma!" They all screamed, running to us with wide smiles.

    "You know them or something?" Addie asked as Nathan tackled me to the ground.

    I noticed Jaz change her eye color to red as she stared at Addie. This should be interesting.

    "Addison Elizabeth Ramirez, we have waited a long time for you." I rolled my eyes as everyone stared at her, making Addie uncomfortable.

    "No need to be so damn dramatic guys, she literally doesn't remember any of you." I slowly stood up and wrapped my arms around Addie making her relax.

    "Babe, I want you to meet your brothers and sisters. The guy that tackled me is Nathan, he is your older brother, his power is total control of metals. Izzy and Sue are your older twin sisters. Izzy can control fire while Sue controls ice. Diego was able to control air while Eric could manipulate the weather. Your Uncle Alex honestly had no abilities at all.

    Haze can read minds while Joey can see in the dark, when they are next to each other they can teleport. Erica unfortunately lost her powers but she used to be able to manipulate electricity. Lacey however took over that ability along with echolocation. Lastly there's Jasmine, she can control all liquids."

     I explained everything pretty fast but she seemed to understand everything completely. After a short pause she finally spoke up.

    "What's your power?"

    "I wouldn't really call my gift a power, it serves no purpose in battle." I said, trying to dodge the question.

    "Well then, what is your gift?"

    "Karma has two gift, his first is called subtitles. Basically if someone is speaking a language other than English he can pretty much see words coming out of someones mouth. When Karma responds he thinks he is speaking English but it comes out as the language he heard." Jazmine explained making Addie confused.

    "Haze, show her." Jazmine commanded.

    "Säg att du är hennes adoptivbror!" Haze shouted.

    Translation: Tell her you are her adopted brother!

    "Jag kan inte, hon är min kompis, det kan skrämma henne bort!" I shouted back

    Translation: I can't, she is my Mate and I don't want to scare her away.

    "What is his second gift?" Addie asked making me relieved about the topic change.

    "He can talk to technology. It's like a hacker reading codes off a screen in order to get into a security system only he doesn't need a computer. He can be near one and be able to access all the data on every electronic device in the world." Nathan explained making me roll my eyes.

    "What they are trying to say is that I have useless gifts, noting I can use in battle." I scoff making everyone look at me weirdly.

    "Karma, what are you talking about? Your gifts are amazing and extremely useful. You are the reason our mothers killer is dead." Sue tried to reassure me, making me pissed.

    "No, I am the reason your mother died and slowly killed your father too." I growled lowly before walking away.

    Nobody really understands why Paris' death affected me more than anyone and honestly I don't know why either. I mean sure I have an idea as to why but it's not good enough for me, there has to be more.

    I'm not saying she didn't save my life because she did, multiple times. Paris even gave life to my Mate and gave me a family. She gave me everything I have today and even killed my parents for what they did to me. She was my mother for ten years and I failed her. She died because I didn't have full control of my powers yet. My Mate doesn't have parents because of me, my kids won't have grandparents. I should have been there.

    "It's not your fault Karma. Please stop blaming yourself and move on, I have. Mom would hate to see you like this and she would probably knock some sense into you. She told us to leave, there was nothing you could have done. She made sure you were half way around the World because she knew you would figure out who it was. She didn't want you or anyone else to get hurt." 

    "Haze, you got to tell her you loved her. Everyone but Lucas, Addie and I got to say it. Do you know how much I hate myself for that? She went to my f*****g graduation! Addie cried herself to sleep on her graduation night because Paris wasn't there!" I felt tears roll down my cheek as I thought of her.

    "I know, it's not fair that she was there for us and not her real kids. But life isn't fair Karma, if Paris would've done anything differently that could have been you dead instead of Paris. And if not then all of you would have died, even Addie. Stop thinking of all the things they missed out on and be glad you get to have them experience life. All of us could have died that night but we didn't."

    I heard a twig snap and looked over at a shocked Addie. "Addison-"

    "You didn't tell me about my mother and father adopting you." She said coldly, taking me by surprise.

    "I couldn't, you would turn your back on me and just act like the Moon Goddess didn't want us to be together."

    "Adjö Karma." She whispered before turning around.

    "Lämna mig inte Addison!" I yelled but I let her go.

    "I'm sorry Karma, I didn't know she was there." Haze apologized with a sad face.

    "Keep an eye out on her, I'm going to go for a while." I mumbled, staring in the direction Addie went before walking the opposite way.

    'Mate really said goodbye... She doesn't want us anymore does she?' Tierce whimpered as I sighed.

    "I told you there was no such thing as forever." I whispered to myself before I started running.

    Addie's POV

    It's been four months since I've seen him and I feel like I am dying. Yes, I know I'm exaggerating but I miss him so much. But we can't be together, people hate Lucas because my mother carried him in her stomach for her brother who was gay. She helped give gay people a family so the odds of people accepting Karma and I yet alone our children... Well it's about zero percent. 

    Ally barely talks to me now but she knows why I did this. But even though I don't talk to her I know she misses Karma as badly as I do. So how am I able to lead a pack like this? I can't and I'm not, my brother Nathan is running it.

    I left the pack three months ago and only Nathan knows where I am. He agreed to give me time to work through my problems. Of course nobody outside the pack knows where I am, not even Karma. I've been living in my vampire form so Ally can be sad too and hopefully heal a little. I wish I could just live in a city but with Karma's powers he would be able to find me and I don't want that.

    "Hey Addie I need you to listen to something." Nathan said, startling me since he already came once this week.

    "You're only supposed to come once a week Nate." I whisper yelled at him as he started climbing my tree.

    "I know but this is important, Karma made a comeback. He just released a new song and it's about you."

    "He did what?"  I asked in disbelief.

    "Just listen to it." He said before tossing me his phone.

    I quickly read the song title before hitting play. *The song is called Bruises by Lewis Capaldi, he is one of my favorites.*

    I looked over at Nathan who looked at me sadly. "Go ahead Nate."

    "Thank Goddess I thought I was going to have to post it without your permission." Nathan sighed before uploading my first single.

    Before you ask, yes I do have a few songs because I write in my free time. Every week or so we record one that I've written but we don't put them on YouTube or Spotify. Instead we have been saving them for when I want to become a Singer. The song we are talking about now is about Karma. The night I told him goodbye was when I wrote this specific song. My heart was aching and I already knew I would miss him more than anything.

    "Make sure you send it to Karma so he knows about it. Then tell me what he says, please." I looked over at Nate with my red eyes as I studied him.

    "Of course Princess. But he might come here looking for you so I would suggest a shower so you are more presentable." Nate suggested making me roll my eyes.

    "Ally won't even talk to me, what makes you think I have strength to go to the house and bathe?" I asked with an eyebrow arched at him.

    "Fine, but if he complains about your smell I will not be blamed." Nate said defensively making me pout.

    "Alright, I will go." I mumbled as he did a little celebration dance.

Karma's POV

    "I'm glad you're back Christopher." My producer said making me roll my eyes. I hate that name but Karma isn't exactly a good stage name.   

    "I guess." I mumbled still upset.

    "That girl really broke your heart didn't she?" 

    "THAT girl is everything to me and she has a name!" I growled, showing my canines.

    "Alright, ADDISON really broke your heart didn't she?" 

    "Yeah, but I will still take her back in a heart beat. I'm just waiting on her, forever and always." I clarified making my manager stiffen.

    "Alice, just leave if you are going to insult my Mate every time you open your petty ass mouth. I can find myself another producer in a matter of seconds." I threatened making her leave.

    *RING*

    "What do you want?" I asked, tired of people calling me.

    "Dude, be nice. I have some good news for you." Nathan said cheerfully making me want to growl.

    "Unless it has something to do with Addison I don't want to hear it." I said, raining on his parade of sunshine and rainbows.

    "It actually does have to do with her. I had Addie listen to your new song and she released her first single as a response. You'll know what to do after you hear the song." 

    "Alright, send me the link." I said, truly curious about her feelings.

    "Alright, talk to you soon bro." Nate said before hanging up.

    Not even three seconds later the link came through and I clicked on it immediately. Taking note of the title my heart started beating faster. *Back To December by Taylor Swift. Yes it's an old song but her older songs are better in my opinion.*

    Tierce commented making me agree. Moving to the comment section I  quickly wrote a message before shutting off my phone and leaving the studio. Quickly leaving town I shifted into my wolf and took off at full speed. 

    'Mate won't know what hit her.' I thought to myself as I smiled widely.

    "Karma." Addie gasped as I entered the kitchen, shock written all over her face.

    "Addie." I growled as I got closer to her.

    She tried to get away but I already had her pinned to the wall. Feeling my eyes darken I looked into her perfect blue eyes. The smell of coconut and lavender filled my nose making me crash my lips onto hers. Slowly moving my hands from above her head down to her hips, gently biting her bottom lip as I looked into her newly brown eyes.

    "You're mine." I whispered before kissing her harder.
