Winter blinked as Cosima grinned at her. “I’m sorry, Cos, I was daydreaming… what did you say?”
“I said I hope you’ve made up your mind about Thanksgiving? Mina’s already made the guest room up for you and Sukie.”
Winter smiled at the young girl. “Then how can I say no? But I do insist on helping with the cooking and decorating and everything I can.”
Mina nodded enthusiastically. Since meeting Winter, the young girl had bonded with her, sharing her love of playing the piano and reading with Winter. Winter felt like she had a younger sister in Mina, and the teenager had such a sweet nature, and she reminded Winter of Summer so much, she almost mixed the two in her head.
She spent a wonderful evening with the Forresters, laughing at the antics of Mina’s young twin
