Present day…
"Capt…..they….. .…ng…Tid…s …….ng….take turn……time…….eclaim…..birthright, are you sure……Ascension……wait….where……e, where's……?……Eelrius…..Now!" hears in the dream right before he wakes up when the ship's turn makes him fly from his bed and onto the door.
"Ow…. That…. Hurt….very bad." said Samirith as he drops down on the floor after being hit to the door."Sammy? Sammy, you there boy?" asked a elderly voice. "I'm alright by the way, what the hell is going on?" asked Samirith. "Captain's taken the wheel, she isnt taking it lightly." replied the elderly voice.
Samirith then gets up and observes his room, which is actually a small part in the in the ship, it is badly kept since books and maps are littered everywhere along with two pistols and a half eaten apple that had been in his table for days but now all messed even more thanks to the ship's turn.
"Are you up boy? That emissary's been looking for you from last night, Sammy?" asked the elderly voice. "Yup, yes I'm up, I think?" replied Samirith. "Good, now, now come on lad, we haven't got all day." replied the elderly voice as it descends back to silence. Samirith yawns one last time in the floor and finally goes to finding his clothes.
Moments pass as Samirith finally emerges to the ship's surface where the sun shines bright as everyday. Just as he arrives, the ship takes a even wild turn, causing everything to crash down along with some of the people. Samirith luckily grabs hold of nearby shroud.
"What the heck man?" yells a crew member from above. Samirith then observes the ship's structure once more to see if there are any damages but luckily there isn't, the ship he is aboard is actually an outdated Empire Aircraft, modified and turned into a naval craft by various modifications therefore making it a one of the kind designed ships to sail the great Jai'kra's Sea.
Just as Samirith walks, he notices Wasim, the Captain's current advisor waving at him. Seeing this, he waves back and approaches him. "Samirith, is it?" asked Wasim as he gives a handshake but suddenly the ship shivers once more, causing them to catch nearby parts of the ship to hold on. "Please, Sammy is just fine anyway, you must be our new emissary, Wasim was it?" asked Samirith. "Advisor, technically, I've been sent by the Captain's father to assist her in her voyage." said Wasim.
"Well, good luck then, I'm just a technician." said Samirith. "No actually, as of this moment, you have been promoted to the new navigator." said Wasim. "What? But why? And what happened with Zi'ran?" asked Samirith. "He died, personal issues with the Captain I think." said Wasim before getting interrupted by Samirith.
"He what?" asked Samirith shockingly. "Died, anyway, you'll do fine, better actually, I reviewed your profile, follow me." said Wasim as he walks to the navigational Room. "Sir, honestly I'm very thankful you got me this job but, I've never done navigation before, especially this fine, ship like thingy, anyway the point is, maybe you should just think this through." said Samirith while following Wasim.
"Don't be such a baby Sammy, you'll do fine, Zi'ran had very less knowledge than you when it comes to ships, but didn't he improve over time?" said Wasim."But, he always says he's supreme intellect." said Samirith. "Now you know his dirty little secret." said Wasim. "But sir, I…" said Samirith right before Wasim grabs him by his shoulders.
"Look at me Sammy, Zi'ran and you know who were involved, real close, now that he's gone, Captain says she will handle navigation, which you can see." said Wasim as a ship's part from above drops down, crashing its way through till to the lower deck. "Got it?" asked Wasim. Samirith nods.
"Good." said Wasim as he pushes him into the navigational room. Just as Samirith is being pushed, he bumps into Cutface accidentally. He takes a step back with Cutface looking back at him enraged. "I am so sorry, it was a accident I swear…." said Samirith.
"Cut it out Cutface, I'm trying to concentrate over here." said Zelia in a drunken tone. Wasim intervenes between them and pushs through while pulling Sammy with him. Samirith moves through a small gap and reaches Zelia where she pops open a beer and finishing the entire bottle within few minutes, then she starts to randomly click buttons.
"Captain, with all due respect, move away from the controls." said Wasim gently. "Fine, all yours, don't say I told you so." said Zelia as she steps aside. "Go ahead Sammy, you can do this." said Wasim. "Who's he?" asked Zelia. "None of your business." whispers Wasim silently. "What was that?" asked Zeli .
"Nothing, Sammy, anytime now, please." said Wasim. Samirith begins to work his way through the controls, bringing several systems back online. Suddenly one of the display doesn't work and he taps on it which makes it work properly again. "Woah, not bad, you know just to be clear, I knew that, and whatever he just did too." said Zelia.
"Of course, never doubted it, so Sammy, how are we looking?" asked Wasim. "Yeah Sammy, the guy who just popped out of nowhere, how are we looking?" asked Zelia. "I didn't pop out of nowhere actually, I was a…" said Samirith before getting interrupted when Wasim fake coughs to get his attention back to the task at hand. "Fine, it is great actually captain, the weather is good, really good, you know what that means." said Samirith.
"Sea's gonna be swarming with merchants." replied Zelia.
"Yup, and if we set our target right, we might score bigger this time." said Samirith as he picks one ship through the controls.
"Not that one, that's the Karwiyah, we piss one off, they're gonna return with thousands." said Zelia.
"Technically, we are here to take down Karwiyah's ships, remember?" asked Samirith. "I have no idea what you are talking about." said Zelia. Samirith looks at Wasim to which Wasim nods indicating him to do what the Captain says.
"Okay then." said Samirith as he swipes the controls, switching to a new target. "What about this one?" asked Samirith. "You're kidding right? That belongs to the Splinters, last time we messed them they hacked this ship." said Zelia.
"I thought Trinity was unhackable." said Samirith.
"I thought so too, and it's Terror Trinity, don't ever forget that." said Zelia.
