I pace back and forth, my body full of pent-up anger.
“Abby…”
“What’s his problem, Joss? I don’t understand why I can be part of the team one day and shunned out the next!!”
She tilts her head to the side.
“You know, for a pair of great investigators, both of you can be so blind sometimes!”
“What do you mean!?”
“Love.” she answers simply, causing me to stop in my tracks.
“Love?” I ask carefully in return. “Joss… we hardly know each other!”
She shakes her head.
