Abby’s POV
I hang up the phone and turn to face Ben.
“I take it you heard that?” I ask, already knowing the answer.
He shrugs his shoulders.
“Are you surprised? Seems like she had the means to get to your computer and-“
“But what’s her motive?” I interrupt quickly. “Why work for a psychopath like Yuri when she has her own little cookie-cutter life? A husband? A beautiful baby?”
Ben raises his eyebrow at me and looks at me as though I've just said something stupid.
“Perfect life? Abby, her husband is still in love with you. I think she has f*****g motive.” he scoffs, shaking his head at me.
“I guess so.” I answer. “It's just… I don’t know. Something’s off.”
Ben furrows his brows as he examines me.
“Are you having a Columbo moment?”
I throw him a glare and show him the
