Is it for good or bad?

The queen came back with the child quickly. She handed the baby to the king and the king handed the baby to the priest.

The priest started to read the face of the baby. ” The baby has a good future. His planet is in favor for the success of this state and its people. He is also good for both the mother and father, who are now the king and queen. ” the priest stopped and said“ but.......”

“Priest, what happened?” the king asked with worry.

“ There is only one thing which will not be in his favor, which will be his health. His health will cause him problems. ” the priest said.

“ Are there any solutions to get over this problem? ” The queen asked.

“ There are two solutions, your majesty, but both need to be followed by you. ” the priest said.

“ What is the solution sir? ” the queen asked.

“ The first solution is to offer some water to the sun god daily. He is a child, he can't do that, but you can do that in his place until he is sensible enough to do that. The second solution is that from his 2nd birthday to his 18th birthday he needs to grow up as a girl. ” the priest said.

“ Why does it have to happen to him? " The queen said with some worry.

“ Your majesty, its destiny is written by God for him. We can't meddle in it. We can just try to reduce the effect of it. This solution will be really effective and chances of him getting unhealthy will probably be reduced. So you should really do it. It may feel like it is not effective, but it is quite effective. He will remain in good health most of the . ” the priest said.

The king and queen sat in silence for some time to process all the information. They weren't able to have a baby for so long. They have a baby. His destiny is like that, but they have to tell their heart it's only temporary.

The king said in a strong voice,“Our child will be raised as a girl until he is 18 years old. Our boy will be raised as a girl. Whoever tries to tell this secret to the outside world will be killed mercilessly. ”

This announcement of the king caused fear in the people of the palace. They know their king is kind, but he can kill people mercilessly if someone tries to harm his family. All the servants decide to bury this secret inside their hearts because no one wants to die death which is inhumane.

“ You all decorate this mansion like nothing happened here. I want this palace to look very beautiful like it never looked before. Tomorrow is the naming ceremony of our princess. ” the queen announced this in the whole palace through the servants.

“ Sir, we have given our first invitation to God. We have saved a second invitation for you. So please come tomorrow for the ritual to be done by you. We would also like to invite your whole family. So please try to come with your family. ” the king and the queen, while handing over the invitation to the priest.

“ I will come since it's my work, but I will try to come with my family. Now I may leave since I spent a lot of time here. ” the priest said.

“OK sir, let me walk you to the door. ” The king said and started walking towards the door (main door). The priest followed him behind.

The king, after bidding farewell to the priest, went back to the queen. He knew she needed him right now. The king had only married one queen in his life and he remained loyal towards her. He went to her room and saw her laying on the bed. He knows she is probably crying silently.

He went near her and put his hand on her shoulder. She sat up, hugged him tightly and cried. He hugged her back and said, “You are a strong woman, my dear. We have worse than this. You know we will come back strong after every fight. So cheer up, we have a baby who will stay with us. ” the king said.

“ I will be alright. I just need some time. Nothing else dear. I will fulfill all my wishes for a boy and girl through our baby until he turns two. I will dress him up as both a boy and a girl after that, only as a girl. I will dress him in all the beautiful dresses I can find. ”

“OK, you can do as you wish, my dear, I won't say anything about this. Don't you think it's baby's sleeping time, and he can also be hungry? Why don't you go and find him? He will start getting fussy after not seeing you near him for sometime.” the king said.

“ Oh right, I will go see him. I got a bit distracted by the slight bad news but now I am alright. Why don't you come with me?” the queen said.

“Of course, I will come with you, my dear.” he said. Both of them went to see their baby happily.

NEXT DAY (DAY OF NAMING CEREMONY)

The naming ceremony is an important celebration. A name and its meaning always resembles a person in traits somewhere. So it's an important part of the Hindu religion. Today the palace is already decorated. A feast is being cooked for nobles and common today. They are all invited to this celebration. Of course, not everyone is allowed near the baby. They are here invited to join in the happiness of the royal family.

The naming ceremony started with the yagna to purify the home. The priest did his calculations and finally decided on the 1st letter of the name for the baby.
