CHAPTER - THE REJECTION

Oh I really liked Eder Dame! I can see why she was so loved and still is!
She knows we special!
As I walk into the garden it is decorated beautifully!
Flowers of all kinds line the walls and fairy lights cover over the top with the full moon shining through them.
There’s a stage with a male setting up for music. A dancing floor in front of it, then in the back of the dancing floor there are many tables with white cloths on them, with two to four seats at each table, then food and drink tables lining the side wall by the tables.
I head to the very back because I know even with my ear plugs the music is going to be very loud!
I settle in the back left corner, no need to make getting to me easy as there will be no mate for me.
We will have a mate
Over to the right of me is a mating record table, that I know Elder Dame will be sitting at after she is done with the males.
The table is the place where wolves go to report that they have found their mates at the ball.
Then later they will be called up to the stage and sent off to finish the mating and marking for another ceremony tomorrow night.
A fated nate is the other halves to each wolf, a soulmate. A blessing from the Goddess herself!
A mate will have a wonderful scent that will lead the two together.
With every skin to skin contact there will be sparks like getting hit with a shock of electricity.
When mates kiss, the kiss will send a warmth through the body creating a desire for each other that no other can match.
When held in each other's arms there’s a feeling of safety and security; just a touch of a mate can bring a calmness.
It is said that a fated mate has unconditional love and loyalty. But I have seen mates be unfaithful or be harmful to their mates so I do not believe in that.
To complete a mate bond there has to be a marking during mating. The marking has to be consensual between the two wolves or the mark will not take.
If a mark is forced it will cause lots of pain and blood loss. Sometimes even death!
I take my scent out and spray one time on my neck. And put my lemon lip gloss on. I love lip gloss! It’s the only makeup that I actually wear!
All the other girls have claimed tables all spread out through the room. Only two were sitting together at one of the four sitters.
The introduced males were coming in now and it was starting to get a bit louder.
Once they were all in then the previous introduced males and females would follow. Soon this room would be packed.
Throughout the night many males somehow make their way back to me. All nicely scent me, a few actually sit down for a few minutes.
A very nice looking guy catches my eye. He has deep green eyes, and he is very well built. His body is busting out of the seams of his clothing.
So hot! I can think of a lot of things I would like to do with him!
He made his way back to me, and my breath caught. He sat down, and put his hand on mine, the tingles shocked both of us! He brought his lips to the back of my hand. The warmth shot through my body and into my core.
Penny was jumping around and doing flips! Mate mate he is our mate!
He leaned in and scented me, and I could smell him. He smelled like a home fireplace, trees, and cinnamon rolls!
Oh my Goddess I have a mate!
He asked me my name and I told him.
Then he ripped my heart in two!

Anastasia I was introduced two years ago, and if you had been here then I would have accepted you happily.
However, when I went out to the human world last year I found a wonderful woman who I want to make my chosen, and bring her here.
But since I came back here without her, I was required by the city to attend this ball.

When I woke up I was in the medical center, and Elder Dame and my Mother were standing next to me talking quietly.
Mom! I cried.
Oh honey what happened! You passed out two days ago at the ball! It was so embarrassing!
He did not want me mom! Why does no one want me mom?

At that time the doctor walks in, and she tells us that i’m suffering from a mate rejection. That all my vitals look good but that I will need to be watched closely for the next three months.
A mate rejection is rare and extremely painful! There are a couple different types of rejection. A mate rejection is three to five days of excruciating pain, then three months before the bond breaks. The three month wait is in case there is a chance of the mates coming back together.
Another is an Unfaithful mate rejection. It is five to ten days of horrible pain, but once the pain is done the bond breaks completely.
Three months! This is going to hurt like this for three months?!?!
No, my child it is just a few days! You are strong. You can handle this!
Mom looks at the doctor, and tries to whisper that I can not come home with her. Is there any way someone can stay with me in my room at the dorm? Or if I could go to the pack house.
Of course I hear every word. But the pain is just too much for me to speak up.
The doctor looks down at me sadly, and says that if I can not find someone to stay with me in the dorm then I will have to go to the security force for the three months for my own safety.
No! Oh my Goddess! This can not be happening!
Elder Dame steps up and says She will stay with me for the three months in my dorm room to keep me safe. She says I will survive this, and she will help me!
She then stands in front of my mom and says that she will need my mother to hand me over to her for her to mentor me.
I Marie King willingly give my daughter Annatasia Lauren to Elder Samantha Dame. She then looks at me sadly, turns around, and walks out the door!
No! Not another rejection! Please Goddess! What have I done wrong?
Mom! Mom! Please, I need you! Please come back!
Shhh now child! I will take care of you and teach you the things you need to know now. Come let’s take you back to your room. I know you have the big room and she winks at me. I’ll have my things brought over. Come now my child.
The doctor steps up to remind us that now that I have met my mate, my heat will start to come.
A wolf's heat is like a human female's period. Except there is no blood! The female gets very very horny and wants s****l contact almost constantly for three to five days straight. Every wolf is different about how often they go into heat.
During this time the city puts an unmated female in a reinforced cell for her protection. The smell of her heat will drive unmated males crazy. The males will try to mate with her.
The pain was horrible! I do not know how I made it all the way to my room. But I remember all the whispers in the hall! I remember seeing Staci turn her back to me! Ohhh how much pain do I have to go through!
Elder Dame enters my room and looks around and smiles. She helps me to the bed and tucks me in. She brings a glass of water and sets it on the table next to me.
I just roll over and cry into one of my pillows.
Listen now to me my child, you will get through this. The pain will only last a few days and I know you and your wolf are strong enough to do this.
But for three months? I cried on my pillow.
No child, the pain for only a few days. But it will take three months for the breaking of the bond to be complete.
We have already found Favorein, and he was taken to medical, and then security.
He will have to stay at least two weeks in security to make sure the madness does not set in.

Next week will be your dominance testing. But for now don’t worry about anything, I am here for you.
