The tale of Chu Qie

 Did you know there are hundreds and thousands of deities that are born with every wish from mortals? But she wasn't born from a wish, she was one of those major deities that are birthed by the universe's will for its worldly purpose. She was always a deity who works behind the scene, the Deity of Immortality, her existence is unerasable. For centuries she had seen the rise and fall of each deities. What everyone loves more than anything else is youth and immortality, thus she was a protected secret. The King of Hell sighed upon seeing his sister, "You made another mess in the mortal world, why did you create a pond of eternal youth and now, because of your action there was a war in the mortal realm, devils, demons and humans are at each others throat." "I just went to visit the mortal realm, but then I saw Death playing around the pond and harvesting the poor fishes souls, in the end I couldn't bear her killing them so I-" The King of Hell looked at her in distress, "You may leave, however send one of your personnel's to remove the pond, if you want transport it back to your place." "Alright," she replied with a smile however before she turned around to leave the room her brother stopped her. "Before you leave, return the dagger of the Emperor of the Sun, back then your predecessor, or your old self, kept on stealing armories from the Emperor only to end your life, you know no matter how you kill yourself in the end you would return." She pouted and pulled out a golden dagger from her sleeves, leaving it on the table. The King of Hell exasperatedly sighed and threw a helpless gaze at her silhouette, "When will she ever find meaning to her life." ---- Nene stared at her mistress who was playing with her hairpin. "Young Mistress, did King-" "He found out," she cut her off, leaning on the sill she was immersed in contemplating how to steal in the armory of the Sun Emperor. She had always hated her role, she wanted to die and erase her existence, however with each attempt she would just return. Each year, a new Deity of Immortality kept on being born, the same face, the same name,the same personality and the same role but she has no memories of her past self. "Nene, what do you think is the most important thing in the three realms?" "Eh, love-" "Pfft--hahaha," she laugh in amusement, "Wrong, it is the ability to live longer with a youthful face. Immortality, even deities loved this." Nene sighed at her bitter mistress, "You only say that because you haven't found the one who could flutter your heart." "Love," she giggled, "It is just a connection pulled by the deity of destiny, his strings will only last for a short time. The affection might still be there but the object of the affection would always change." ------------------------------------------------- One day the Deity of Immortality vanished and the King of Hell knew she was still alive, where did she go? Secret soldiers were roaming around trying to find her without alarming the three realms, hopefully they could find her, else if other dark forces were to find her then every balance in the three realms would be disrupted. Meanwhile, the concubine of the deity of Luck suddenly returned with a child, claiming it was hers. Years had gone, the young Chu Qie stared at her mother who was touching her face. "Mother?" "Fel, gave me the bracelet," Concubine Chu got a silver bangle and placed it on her daughter's wrist, sealing it with a mana so that it won't get separated with its owner. "Happy birthday," her warm greetings made the child smile happily, unbeknownst to her, the bangle tightly sealed on her wrist actually changed her appearance to make her resemble Concubine Chu and the deity of Luck. "Your father will be visiting, be sure to keep him entertained and put a good word on your mother," Concubine Chu carefully caressed the cheeks of the one who would make her life better inside the manor.
