My dad opened another club downtown so Jax and I are going to go check it out. A little bit of business but mostly pleasure. He wants me to check out the scene, see if the people like the drinks, music, and atmosphere. Since I’m done with school and I’m back in town I told him I'd help him out until I found a job in my field. He’s always wanted me to take over, but it’s just not what I want to do. I make my way to Jax's apartment, pick him up, and then head out to my dad's newest investement.
When we arrive at the scene I'm not surprised to see the line as long as it is. My father is a pain the ass, but the man knows how to run a business. We make our way to the front and as we walk by we get some ugly stares from people who have to continue to wait in line. We don’t have to say anything because the bouncer already knows who we are. We'd come earlier before the place opened to make sure everything was ready to go. I shake his hand, then Jax and I make our way inside. The business part is what needs to be taken care of first, so that we can get to the pleasure part much faster.
The DJ is jamming, the bartenders are still busy and it’s already 1:00 in the morning. People seem to be having a good time and everything seems to be going as it should be. People are either dancing on each other or drinking by the bars. Everyone looks content and and they’re enjoying themselves. The club seems to be running smoothly, and that’s good enough for me, now enough business, time for pleasure. Motioning to Jax I start making my way down the steps to the dance floor. There are plenty of girls looking our way wanting to dance and deny them we won't.
A few songs later, we make our way outside after grabbing another drink from the bar. I think I hear someone yelling behind me and swear the voice sounds familiar. I'm trying to pinpoint the voice but it sounds like it’s getting further away. It sounds so much like hers that I stop walking and look around to see if I'm right, but I can't see anyone. The voice way to familiar to ignore, like a spell beckoning me to follow it. Turning to my left I see her, or better yet, I see the back of her. She had an ass you couldn’t miss and the pull I felt was crazy, as soon as Brianna turned around, there was no doubt it was her. Brianna had been Lexie's best friend since they were kids, and I wasn’t surprised that they were still friends now. Those two were inseparable back in high school. Making my way towards her proved to be difficult since it seemed everyone wanted to get in my way right then and there. I was almost free when Jax gets in front of me hugging two girls.
"Eli! I want you to meet Tanya and her friend." He has this huge smile on his face, and I have a feeling he's going to be taking one of them if not both home. I can't get a good look at the women Jax has his arms around because I'm trying to figure out where Lexie and Bri are. When I turn to look past him towards the exit they're gone. A blonde with fake t**s and too much make-up on for my taste comes up to me and pulls me towards the dance floor while her friend pulls Jax towards the same place. We start dancing and I can't help but look around trying to see if I can't find Lexie again. I catch Jax looking at me and I just shake my head dismissing his curious look. I'm about to give up when I see someone is getting sick outside by the grass.
"Damn lightweights." I hear Jax say next to me. Trying to get a better look I recognize the person as Bri and she's next to Lexie.
Lexie holding her hair out of way, so she doesn’t get any throw up on it. Before I realize what I'm doing I start walking towards them and I call her name. She's already started walking towards the parking lot like she’s in a hurry to get somewhere, and I start moving faster trying to catch up. No one is moving out of the way fast enough, and I don't think twice when I start pushing people out of the way. I can’t lose her again, so I take longer strides, and as soon as I’m close enough, I grab her arm and pull her in.
"Where are you going beautiful?" The feeling I get all over from just touching her is unmatched. No one can make me feel like this, no one except her. I'm smiling down at her but I feel her stiffen at the sound of my voice. Slowly she faces me and if looks could kill I’d be dead on this concrete. I try to say something, but instead she pulls away and starts walking away.
"Hey hold up!" I try to catch up to her again but it seems she's trying to avoid it at all costs. She's practically dragging Bri at this point because she doesn’t want me to catch up. It's fun to watch as she struggles to put her friend who is taller than her in the passenger seat. I give her enough time to finish, but then take bigger steps so I reach her just when she's closing the passenger door and I stand right in front of her. I ask her why she's running from me, but I have a good idea as to why. At this point I'm just trying to be near her and assess the damage.
"I don't have anything to say to you." I did. I wanted to say so much but it doesn’t look like she‘d be willing to listen, she looks ready to throw a few punches my way. She was looking at me like I was s**t, and that wasn’t sitting well with me. I ask her a few questions, but she doesn’t seem to care what I have to say. I stand there and just look down at her, she looks perfect, she is more beautiful now than the last time I saw her. My chest aching from how comfortable it feels to be near her. I notice she's checking me out, and that puts a smile on my face. She put up a good front, but I can tell she's still attracted to me.
"Like what you see babe? Cause I'm damn sure enjoying the view." That seemed to knock her out of her trance because her face goes stone cold and she practically yells for me to move. Being the hardheaded bastard that I am, I stand my ground and we have a stare off. I begin to get lost in those beautiful eyes, my body begging me to get closer to her until I hear someone clear their throat behind me. I turn annoyed at the interruption and find Jax looking past me at the girls in the car about to pull off.
“Who was that?” He asks looking at me now.
“That was Lexie.” I tell him and see the recognition in his eyes. He’s never actually seen Lexie but I’ve told him enough about her that he knows exactly who I’m talking about. My first semester of college I was all broken hearted and mad because my parents made me lose the only girl I’d ever loved. Jax was the only one I told about my relationship with Lexie so he knows she was a pretty big deal.
“Lexie as in your ex-girlfriend Lexie?” He chuckles, likes it’s funny or something.
“That’s the one.” I groan, mad that he let them get away.
“Damn bro who would have thought, your first night back and you’re already running into your ex! s**t, talk about a small world.” He lets out a laugh.
“Yeah and you let her leave before I got a chance to really talk to her.”
“Seemed to me like she was trying to get away from you, so it looks like I did her a favor.” Stupid Jax always seeing more to people than most.
“What did you want anyways?” I sound annoyed as I ask, and he laughs because he knows he’s succeeded in pushing my buttons.
“I was gonna ask if you were ready to go? There’s someon…I mean something I need to do.” I can’t help but laugh at him. Jackson Bates has been known for his ability to make almost every girl he comes across fall to her knees with just a few looks and even fewer words. He was good looking, and the bastard knew it, used it to his advantage as much as possible too.
“Yeah let’s go, I’m done for the night.” I look at where Lexie’s car was just parked, I’ll be seeing her again but until then I might as well go home and get some sleep.
As soon as I walk into my condo, I pull my phone from my pocket and send a text to one of the guys I went to school with. He’s a whiz with a computer and finding people, I send him Lexie's name and birthday and I ask him to look her up for me. I want to know where she works, lives and what her phone number is. Am I invading her privacy? Probably, but I’m not leaving another encounter up to chance. I’m going to see her again and she’s going to talk to me.
I start taking off my clothes and head towards the shower. I hop in and close my eyes enjoying the hot water as it runs down my body. The first thing I see is her, and those brown eyes, the same ones that would look up at me with such adoration when we were together, the way she looked at me made me feel invincible, like I could take on anything just because she believed I could. Her full lips looked delicious tonight and it was so hard to keep from kissing her earlier. Her hair was longer, and her body was very well taken care of. I couldn’t help but think how good it would feel to have her in my arms again. All that thinking about Lexie has my d**k rock hard, so I wrap my hand around it and start moving it up and down.
Closing my eyes, I picture her and her beautiful mouth on my d**k. There's picture after picture of us in bed playing in my head. I use it as motivation to find my release, and when I do I have to use my free hand to hold on to the shower wall to keep me up. When I'm done, I switch the water to cold and cool down before getting out of the shower.
I make my way towards my new king-sized bed. Dreams of me being waist deep in Lexie soon follow and I welcome them, but only until I'm able to make her mine again. It won't be hard, I could see it in the way she looked at me tonight. There was still something there and I'm going to make sure she realizes it sooner rather than later. Now if I could only get her to listen to me long enough to tell her what happened.
