Prologue
The world stops.
A scream fills the air.
Emelie stumbles to the ground, her knees painfully hit the cold pavement. The phone that a second ago was in her hand, now lies on the ground nearby, a soft voice from the other side still whispering a compassionate, "Ma'am, is everything okay?"
A quick flash blinds Emilie, a clicking noise drills in her head. She tries to hide her face in her hands, but it's too late.
The owner of Butterflies Publishing House died in a car accident
The owner of Butterflies Bulishing House, Margaret Stone, was hit by a drunk driver yesterday morning in front of her office. She died on the spot, leaving her twenty-two years old daughter, Emelie, an orphan. Emilie is an Internet sensation with two bestsellers on her account. When the news broke, she was leaving her hairdressers and one of our reporters managed to take pictures of her crying (see below and on the next page). She refused to give any comments.
Will Emilie be taking over her mother's company or is she too young and erratic for this kind of responsibility? Vote now on our website!
