Chapter 19Javi woke and realized he’d been moved from the infirmary where he’d spent several days after being carried from the Harriet. Razz had carried him apparently, which he wished he could have been awake to experience. It had been a foggy few days, as faces floated in and out of his vision, some he knew, some he didn’t. He’s seen Razz’s face often, which was gratifying, as long as he hadn’t been hallucinating it.
He struggled up on his elbows to look around. The room looked like quarters on a star ship, except that, even dimly lit, he could tell this was considerably bigger and more luxurious than any of the quarters on the Harriet. The bed itself felt about the same size as the entire floor space in the quarters he’d shared with Arien.
