Beep beep beep... "Hello". "b***h you better get your ass in here, before I come in your house" Oh s**t. I totally forgot that today my best friend Kate and I are going to the new restaurant that's just opened two days ago... and we want to try it since it became so popular and everyone keep whispering about it... so we decided to go and take a look. Let me tell you, it is not fun to go out on weekend especially if your exhausted as I am, and who in the hell likes to have fun going outside and do some shopping or whatever the hell your about to do, when the sun is enough happy and beaming like it doesn't even care if you got sunburn. No!... Not me!! I finished taking a bath and quickly ate some apple, after that I put on some clothes and check if I forgot something. Nope.... Wait "oh s**t my keys!!!" "Where is this brute trying to hide!!" I look at the hanging keys near my apartment door where I usually hang it, but it's not there?? Oh my god, Kate is going to kill me if I'm late for another minutes!! beep..beep..beep "Aurora Dickinson. where the hell are you!!". my friend have had enough, and barge into my apartment. "I waited for years in that café and you didn't even show up!!" Kate yelled. she's always been impatient and hot-headed that sometimes even man where terrified of her. no wonder she's single in her 25 years of living. well, not that she's been single. It's just that her heart wasn't healed and afraid to open it again... "I'm sorry Kate, I couldn't find my keys and I can't remember where I dropped it" I reason. "you mean this" she lift the keys and gave it to me. how in the world she found my keys!!? "you.... where did you find it?". "in your bookshelf. you should know where you put your things Aurora, what if something happens and you can't even find a single object in your apartment". she lectured. "thank you, I will remember it". "let's go and eat some food, I'm famished". and with that, we went to the cafe. ------------------- "whoa.. it's... packed!!". we are in front of the cafe and it's too crowded... how in the hell??. "I know right. there's so many people here, I don't even know if we're gonna stay for too long". Kate tried to find a seat for us while I order our food. After I order our foods and get the number, I saw Kate sitting near the window and walk towards her. "where's the food?" Kate asked. "there's too many people, so the cashier says that foods will get delayed for a minutes or so.." "what.. gosh I'm too hungry" she whine cutely. "well... you can't blame them, can you?" I raise my eyebrows and giggle. "no... I can't". she pout, what a baby tigress. after years of waiting, finally the food arrived. " This is heaven, I can't believe a single slice of cake can make me smile". Kate devour her like she never eaten for decades. " the cake will not runaway, you know. slow down unless you want to choke ". I said eating my red velvet cake. but, to be honest I agree with her, this cake is so delicious and moist. and there's a fluffy cream on top with a dust of sprinkles. I've never eaten this kind cake that literally make me devour it like Kate does. No wonder this café is so popular. " ora... rora..Aurora!!. back to earth Aurora " Kate snapped her finger and yelled. "Geez, last minute ago you scold at me for devouring the cake. and now you daze for eating your cake??. serve you right for stopping me and my happiness" she scoffed and giggle for witnessing my embarrassment face. " anyway...are you done?. I want to go home and rest. tomorrow will be busy because the flower shop have a new delivery. and how hard it is to make a flower stay alive for weeks ". I reasons. but, you know what... I just want to go and rest and sleep all day. " what!, you want to go already?, but there's so many cake I want to try" she frowned. Kate has a sweet tooth . she would eat anything sweets, anything at all, and no one can stop her, not even me. " Kate. you have different kinds of cake in front of you, and all of them are gone. how many slices of cake you want to eat until you're satisfied?" I said. " I don't know, six slices?... maybe?.." ".... unbelievable" I said. disbelief plaster on my face. " I am done Kate, you can come here anytime if you want. I just want to go home, please" I beg at her with my unmastered poppy eyes. " fine... but the next time we come here, my treat" she smile. finally I pursue her, thanks poppy eyes. I pay the bills and ready to exit when I bumped into someone. hard!! what kind of body is this?. is it made of metal? " sorry I wasn't looking for..." Holly springs of heaven. Did I just get blind?. what kind of unbelievable beauty I am seeing right now?. did I die?. no wait.. I did not die, an angel just visit me in my dreams!! wait.. this is even not a dream.. then what I am witnessing right now?. I was stunned and mesmerize by this beauty that I can't even finish my word. " it's okay, I was the one who wasn't looking" the man, yes a man!! his voice is so deep and raspy like he just woken up and immediately got here. I mean it's 8 am so I might as well call it a morning. " No.. it's oka..." I was shocked when he suddenly reach me and I back away a little in any case he might do something inappropriate. but I was wrong. he didn't hurt me or anything that might harm me. he just wipe something that was on corner of my lips. " you've got cream in your mouth" he said wiping my mouth with his handkerchief. Did someone shot me in my heart?. oh... it must be the Cupid, stupid me.. wait.. I touch my heart and I can feel it beating too fast. whoa.. whoa.. whoa... hold on Aurora, your not going to fall in love with a stranger just because he is handsome.. No!! " What??" he questions. " Ummm... did I say something?" I question too. " You said NO!" he mimics the expression of my face. " sorry.. I must have blurted out without thinking" I smile awkwardly. and he raise his perfectly shaped eyebrows. I wish I have that eyebrows. Why would god be so selfish in creating a human with half baked potato like me, would it kill him to add just a little bit of spice? " Aurora where are you!" Kate suddenly yelled outside of the cafe looking everywhere. " I'm going now, thank you for the handkerchief" I said. " no worries, you can keep them. be careful. " he said giving me his handkerchief. I have a god's possession in my hand and I'm not giving it back!. I immediately run to Kate in case she might go berserk in public and we run a little errands to buy some stuff for our dinner and breakfast before we go to our perspective home. " bye Kate" I said waving at her in front of the taxi. " see ya love, don't forget to say hello to grandma" she said blowing a kiss. " ok... be careful" after saying goodbye, I immediately enter to my apartment. " finally I'm home. I miss you pillow" I hug my pillow like a Kuala and knocked out never bothering to change. Tomorrow is a big day. and I wish to see him again... I hope so.
