EPISODE 12

[The Next Morning]

Arlo was awake before sunrise as he couldn't get any sleep the previous night. He was constantly hearing the thoughts of his mate, who was scared. He could feel her heart beat accelerating and could also feel her waking up time to time and again she was just thinking of the golden eyed 'thing' that visited her the previous night again and he could feel her.

"I don't want you to think about that, my mate. It was just me and you will get used to me, being the real me pretty soon. I want you to know about you and me. I NEED you to know about us. And for that I need to take you to the witch doctor for her to check on you properly." Arlo said to himself.

"I'd suggest you be on guard around that witch, with Leilah around. You know that she has a thing for you." King said.

"And you also know that I can detect any foul magic around." Arlo replied as he rolled his eyes.

"I voiced my concerns. Though you do, I don't trust that witch of a lady at all. I saw her eyeing you hungrily last night. I, myself went to the end of your head to escape from her hungry eyes. You know how she planned on getting to your head by wearing that lacy thing, in the name of pjs. She obviously knew about you coming, still she-"

"You know I won't waiver, King." Arlo cutted him off. "I have never wanted any female in my life before, not even to fulfil my desires. And now that I have found my mate, it is only her that I seek for everything I ever want. No one can think of being in her pla-"

"There is no competition. She is the ultimate one and anyone who dares to hurt her, will meet their doom in the most painful way

ever known." King said.

King was angry at this point at the thought of someone actually hurting Leilah to get to be with Arlo. He had seen extreme happiness when she had stroked his back and patted him and showered him with kisses last night. He loved the feeling of being petted by Leilah. He didn't want to see her getting hurt. Arlo sensed his feelings and spoke.

"You can go to her later tonight with Blyke when he arrives after getting information about her family. I know you loved the feel of her hands on your fur."

"That was insane. Her touch has transformed me permanently. I can feel the increase in strength and muscles. My fur has also become glossier, smoother and longer. Just her touch can do this to me, then I wonder what mating with her wolf would do. I can't wait for her to get her wolf." King said excitedly.

"How do you think I felt when she touched you? I couldn't hold you in. You were also not cooperating well. You wanted to get fully blown up that time. Every touch made you bulked up. And those kisses she placed on your forehead, made you so excited, that you started getting the urge to get a release. It would have been a terrible sight if you had to try something on her." Arlo blurted out.

"I'm sorry for that, Arlo. I truly am. I never thought that I would lose my control on a human female. But she is the one for us. Her wolf has to show up soon, or else, I'll go weak. I got her feel once, and I need it again to keep up the newly found strength that I have. I want her to pet me again or I would probably-"

"RELAX, King. The one you are talking about, is the human form of our mate, which means, for me. You have to keep your

triggers in control. I'm really glad I got you to go for a run. You had almost lost it. You were howling and jumping and the excitement. I could see it and feel it so strongly.If I had let you stay there with Leilah even for a minute more, I don't want to think of what you would have done. Our werewolf form would have just surfaced and she would hate us."

"I'm sorry Arlo. I told you, she has to get her wolf form soon. Her wolf will not keep me away from herself."

"Leilah has never kept me away from her. I, have never shown her my interest towards her-"

King cut him off and spoke,

"You never had any interest towards her in the first place. I doubt you have any even now."

"What do you mean? She is my mate and I'm sure she is perfect for leading the many packs that I lead and yes, I do like her-"

"Finally, you accepted it. You like her. Start showing her love, Arlo. It will surely benefit our kingdom and she will prove to be the best Luna any one could ever have."

"I have no hate or dislike towards her, King. It is just that I am unable to get through the fact that she is a human, and my mate. I feel that she would be used as a trigger or something against us." Arlo said worriedly.

"She is our mate. We have to protect her. That will be our priority once she is in our life. Can you sense her right now? what is she doing? Did she sleep?" King asked him.

"I guess she did. I can't hear any of her thoughts now."

Just then Arlo got a mind link from Blyke.

"I have reached the place where Luna was last seen. The same spot in the forest. Now heading to the village." Blyke said.

"Good. Note down any strange activities you sense." Arlo ordered him."And keep your guard up at all times."

"Yes, Alpha King, Arlo."

[After A While]

Arlo then rushed out to get Leilah to see the witch doctor. On the way to Leilah's room, he made a ghost appearance in the witch doctor's mind, informing her about him coming over to her chamber with Luna in the next hour or so. Arlo didn't want her to be oddly dressed, which could give Leilah any idea about him being nasty around other girls. He wanted Leilah to know that he doesn't look at any girl in a way which girlfriends would hate.

He wants Leilah to have a good impression about him being loyal to the girl he falls in love with. That actually is true as he kept himself only for his real mate, that is Leilah.

He reached Leilah's door and was about to knock, when he heard some muffled noises coming from inside.

ARLO

Blyke has already left and Rao isn't someone to go to my mate's room without informing me. Then who can it be? Is she talking to someone? Who must be in her room?

He slowly opened the door, he was horrified to see that Leilah was being choked by some creepy shadow-like-thing and she was almost losing consciousness.
