MATED TO THE WEREWOLF KING

EPISODE 2 [MY MATE]

"Your wish My command Alpha king Arlo." With that the mind linking went off between Arli and his Omega.

After a few minutes, Arlo got a very faint scent of something delicious, like the best smell ever in his life. Vanilla and thick forest soil. Suddenly, King started growling in his head with excitement and jumping around inside him. King talks to Arlo a lot of times within his mind.

"Relax king, what are you getting excited for? You think that the scent is from our mate? You really think that she would be around here? Or are you hoping to find her in the new group of people who are joining us? I just hope that she is not a human." Arlo said making King in his head sigh.

"Human or not. Our mate is our mate." King said.

"I know. But, humans are weak. In fact, terribly weak when compared to the strength of our kind she-wolves. I want a strong Luna, who is capable of leading my pack and all the other packs under me, just like I do. A weak Luna can be a threat to me and others around me." Arlo said making King sigh again.

"That shouldn't be a problem. We are here to protect her." King said.

"The intruders will always try to get her to get me. I just hope she is a strong one. But even if she is a human, I won't doubt the choice of the moon goddess for me. She knows what is the best for everyone. And it would be a blessing if I find mine any sooner." Arlo said slightly smiling.

"I really feel that we will be blessed for sure, thanks to the good deeds we did. Let's go and see for ourselves." King said eagerly waiting for his mate.

"I hope so, and just because, my curiosity is getting the best of me and I can't focus on anything. I will check where this delicious smell is coming from. Not because I want to see some weak human standing there as my mate, which I am sure isn't mine." Arlo said then started walking to the basement. As he reached closer, the scent got stronger.

"I can feel her around. She is here. Our mate is here. Finally our time has came to get undivided love." King said excitedly.

"Relax king, I can sense her too, but her scent is mixed with the smell of blood also. Maybe she is injured or something." Arlo said frowning.

"I will rip those who hurt her apart. I just don't want to see her hurt." King said getting angry.

"I would do that before you even take over. No one messes with my mate." Arlo assured him.

Once he entered the basement, he quickly looked around the room trying to follow the scent. Everyone was bowing to him and he held his head high in power. That is when he spotted a frail body lying limp on one of the beds. The owner of the scintillating scent. His mate.

"MATE!! There she is. She is hurt, check if she has a lot of injuries. I need to find out who did it to her. She looks so innocent." King said impatiently.

"Yes, king. She is our mate, our beautiful she-wo. Wait No. she is a human. We have a human mate? There is no sign of any wolf presence inside her." Arlo said looking at her astonished.

"She might not have any clue about how the thing works and that she is destined to be mine. We have to take it slowly. We must take baby steps, so you need to hold on a bit longer, before telling her about her being our mate or for that matter telling her about our real selves." Arlo said trying to calm the king in his mind.

"So I don't get to mate? Why only you? I want her for me as well." King shouted.

"Patience king. There has to be a way of she having her wolf. The moon goddess never makes mistakes. Just because we have been doing good deeds, we are blessed with our mate. May be we need to still be a bit more patient for her to get her wolf or something like that. I don't know how it works. I am the first alpha king to have found a mate and that too a human. As far as I know, humans are very sensitive and get scared easily, so we have to deal with things cautiously."

"Alright, but go and check on her first. Have a look at her injuries atleast. She has her eyes closed. If she won't see you, she won't freak out." King said worriedly.

"Alright. She won't freak out anyways, since I am not in my wolf form. And I, for sure know that I am handsome human male." He replied as a smirk formed on his lips.

He then slowly approached her sleeping figure and looked at her. The moment he did, king growled in his head.

"Damn, she is so pure and so beautiful. My mouth's watering at her sight." King said.

"She sure is but you have to wait for her wolf to show up, so keep yourself a bit restricted around her." Arlo said trying to talk some sense in king. King was loosing his control seeing his mate after waiting for eternity.

"And though she is human, I can tell that she has great potential. Maybe if we mate, she can be what she really is. We must mate as soon as possible. If possible, now!!" King said getting impatient.

Hearing king's thoughts Arlo let out a low growl with change in his eyes colour to golden (which happens when he is gets angry), unaware of the fact that his light growling woke her up from her sleep.

He quickly contained himself which made his eyes go back to normal colour.

"Seriously? That's all you can think of? Mating her? You see the state she is in? She may have no clue about our kind existing. She needs time. She will hate you if you do something in rush." Arlo said to king trying his best not to lash out.

"I know. I was just thinking about the strong pups she would bear for us."

"Get in the back of my head, king. And stay there. I need to check on her injuries first." Arlo said.

"You know that we can heal her by just one kiss by using our healing power combined, right?" King suggested Arlo.

"Yes I Know it very well but I can't do that right now. Do you not see the people around us? They are bowing with respect. And only our kind, can feel who we are, but for humans, I am a leader. If I kiss her, it will look bad, since it would be without her consent. And I don't think that she would like it either. And remember, we can't force her." Arlo replied.

"Alright. Do what you think is ethical. I'll rest behind in your head."

Arlo sighed with relief and then looked back at her and was surprised to see her looking back at him with wide eyes, almost scared.
