EPISODE 3 [OUR LUNA]

Arlo then looked back at her and was surprised to see her looking back at him with wide eyes, almost scared.

He had sensed her accelerated heart beats and thought she had just woken up, and saw him there. But the thought of her being scared of him is something he got a bit upset about.

LEILAH

Who is this man? He is so handsome, pouty lips, cute nose, golden eyes. Wait what? Golden eyes? So the growl that woke me up was from him? did I really hear him growl? What the hell is happening? Is he a vampire or something? Do vampires really exist? Do they growl? But I think they have red eyes. but what does- Oh no he is looking at me. what should I do now? Maybe I should just act losing consciousness again and he may leave me alone.

ARLO

Ah My beautiful little mate. Too bad, I can hear you speak in your mind. And I won't leave you alone ever. I would wait for you to open up to me and make you understand what we are for each other. And, yes, I have golden eyes, because I am a wolf duh.

I hope you don't get scared of me for that, because, you will HAVE to get adjusted to it once you know that we are destined to be together. For now, I'll leave you alone, though I don't want to. But, if I go any closer to you, King may try to take over.

He is growing impatient and I doubt, I will not be able to stop him, cz I feel that same as well. Though I am not a big fan of you humans, I feel an incredibly strong pull towards you. I need to inform my beta and gamma about you, so they know who you are. They should sense it, if you really are the one.

Just as he was about to turn around and go back to his office cabin, his beta, Blyke came there. he gently asked Arlo to walk a bit away from her into the basement hall. After they reached a pretty distance away from Leilah they spoke.

"Arlo, I was on my way to your cabin to tell you about her. But I didn't find you there so I came down here. I guess, you saw her already." Blyke said as he bowed a little.

"I have. Are you the one who found her?" Arlo asked him.

"Yes. When I was going through my usual rounds in the woods after the training with omegas, I got a scent which was almost similar to yours. So, I started following it. That is when I saw, a group of people being chased by rogues.

On closer observation, I found that they were not normal rogues. They looked different. They were mutated. They had much more energy and aggression. Their sizes were also bigger than the normal ones around. They were attacking the source of the scent which was similar to yours." Blyke replied.

"Hold on Blyke. I'm not very sure with, what you meant by a scent similar to mine." Arlo asked confused not understanding what he meant by that.

"Our old pack doctor, had once told me that mates have almost similar scents. This was when my mate had gone hunting and was lost and he advised me to follow scent which was similar to mine.

The males having a masculine fragrance and the female having a more feminine one. And thanks to him I found her. So when got that scent, it was exactly like yours, but more feminine. And I for a moment felt that it was your. Your mate. Our Luna. So I had to protect her at all costs." Blyke said trying to make him understand what he meant by similar scent.

"So you mean you thought that I could have a mate out there?" Arlo asked while raising an eyebrow.

"Yes. I thought so." He replied awkwardly.

"So how did you know who it was in that group of people who were attacked?" Arlo asked.

"Because, they were after one particular scent of a female. The one who had scent similar to yours. But then, before I could do more thinking, the rogue was about to attack her. That is when I jumped to save her and by the time I was done putting him up in our silver ties and tranquilizing him, Luna had passed out. So I asked one of our omegas to inform you about the attack. I didn't want to tell anyone about her without checking with you first."

"Good job. And do you think that they attacked her on purpose?" Arlo asked hoping to get an answer from him.

"Positive, I think that somewhere it was all planned."

"How can it be planned without me knowing about my mate myself? How can anyone know about her before I do?" Arlo said getting confused.

"I have no idea, but I did what I had to, towards my Luna." Blyke said with a bow.

Just then in Arlo's mind, king started speaking.

"Aahhh, it sounds so sweet when he refers to her as his Luna. It is like music to my ears." King said.
