And in an instant, she fell on top of it unconscious.
ARLO
She can f*****g fight? May be the moon goddess was right. I mean she is always right but, anyways. Leilah is so beautiful and now, I sense that she might have powers too. I need to know more.
I slowly lifted her up and put her on the bed gently.
"I need to feel you atleast a bit, my mate." I thought to myself as I looked at her.
Then I pulled up her sleeve and placed my hand over her bare wrist.
Suddenly A sharp blue light came from the touch, almost like a spark that made me startled and backed off.
I felt my hormones dancing. I wanted more, much more from her right now. My eyes flickered to golden and back to normal a few times.
"That was amazing. What is that feeling called?" I whispered.
I slowly leaned in to her who was still in a deep sleep.
I looked at her face and tried to figure out the kind of mystery she is to me.
"Maybe if I just brush my lips on hers."
Just then the light of her room was put on.
The next moment, Blyke and Rao came rushing towards the two of us, making me get up abruptly and stand a bit away from her.
"I'm sorry, don't tell me you guys were about to mate?" Blyke said as he pulled Rao to get out from there.
"Shut the f*** up. She is unconscious." I glared at them.
"We saw a strong blue light emerging from this room and then spreading through the castle a few seconds ago. Like a blink." Rao said making me look at him.
"You did?"
"I think, all wolves who were awake, did. it was too bright, perfectly suiting our wolves vision." Blyke said.
"It was similar to what happens when two strong forces collide." Blyke said looking at me and Leilah.
"I made her unconscious and touched her bare wrist accidentally. That's all. I didn't mate and all." I replied fast.
"Yeah you surely did that accidentally." Rao laughed.
"What are you laughing about?" I glared at him.
Rao laughed a little.
"But why did you make her unconscious?" Blyke asked confused.
"She had a baseball bat ready to hit me with. What do you expect? Me to get beaten? How did she even have it in the first place? who gave it to her?"
Rao gulped hard before answering. "I gave it to her to make her feel safe while she was alone." He shuttered.
"Are you serious? You thought she would be in some kind of trouble when she is here?" I said glaring at him.
"She looked scared, so I-"
Blyke cut Rao off and spoke, "You have to come with me. I have something important to inform you about what the witch doctor said about the herbs."
"Okay then, wait in my office, I'll be there shortly."
"Yes, Alpha king, Arlo." They both replied and the next moment they vanished in thin air. They have been granted a few boons by moon goddess to help them in serving Arlo. Teleportation, being one of them.!
Arlo looked back at her sleeping form and walked up to her. He touched her face and again there was another blue light. This time stronger than the previous one. Arlo stopped his actions for a second but remained determined.

" I have to do this. I have no ill intentions, but since SHE is my mate, only my kiss can wake her up from this deep slumber. So, I have to kiss her. Otherwise, I would have used powers for her to get conscious." I thought to myself.
With that said I put off the lights of her room. I then came back to her. I took the baseball bat and then I slowly bent over and kissed her forehead and teleported immediately.
She instantly opened her eyes and looked around.
Nothing. Just plain darkness.

I am pretty sure. I did see that thing, something. It had golden eyes. they looked back at me and I. Why can't I remember what happened after that?
I was about to hit it with that bat. bat, wait a minute, where is the bat? And how did I get on the bed?
