EPISODE 9

"Oh my god!!! Alpha King, Arlo." The witch doctor bowed at him.

"What connection do you feel with my mate?" Arlo asked her sternly.

"I'm sorry. I had not thought you would make a sudden appearance in front of me like thi-"

She got cut off by Arlo saying,"Answer my question, doctor."

When he said that she immediately dropped the blanket and stopped any moments of trying to cover herself, and spoke. But Arlo's eyes were fixed on her eyes only. never wavering. Not even for a millisecond.

"Yes, Alpha King. Your mate has traces of a witch. Maybe by genetics. But there is also another source which I felt when she was brought in by our Beta, Blyke. I could sense it on him, but I can't exactly lay my finger on it, so I would want to see her personally and know a bit about her parents from her." She explained.

"What do you mean by traces of witch?" Arlo asked confused.

"Means, she may have a bit of witch gene in her. She has traces, which needs to be enhanced to get full powers. I feel she is a mix breed, a rare combination but trapped in a human form. I'm not fully certain." She replied.

"Alright. she will be here tomorrow morning."

"And, one more thing, Alpha King. More like a request." She spoke bending over a bit, giving him a better view of her cleavage. But he didn't move his eyes away from hers.

"What would that be?" He asked frowning.

"She is pure till now and very naïve. I could sense her pure energy radiating when Blyke came in to talk about the herb. You have to take great care of her till I find out more."

"Don't worry about that. she is my mate."

Instantly he vanished from there and got back to his office where Blyke and Rao were still waiting for him.

"Did you carry your Luna in your arms on the way here? And what was the doctor doing when you went there?" Arlo asked Blyke.

Blyke instantly got on his knees and bowed.

"My apologies Alpha king. I didn't know she is my Luna and yes, I did carry her since she was unconscious and as for the doctor, she was doing the usual. Working in the lab side of her room. Writing down something, I guess."

"Just get up. You act like I'm gonna kill you for that." Arlo scoffed. Of course he would have killed if it was not Blyke.

"She is my Luna. I should have been careful." Blyke said getting up.

"So what was Leilah wearing that time?" Arlo asked him.

"Clothes. What else?" Blyke asked confused.

"That is obvious, beta. I'm asking what kind?"

"Some weird humungous gown like thing with her white coat and stuff. The normal kind of clothes that she wears. Why do you ask?"

"How long has it been for you talking to her and me visiting her?" Arlo asked.

"I spoke to her and within 2 mins, I found you in Luna's room and then we came to your office and we spoke for about another 2 mins and then you left. So about 5 mins max. why? Is there anything wrong?"

ARLO

She knows that I have no interest in her, still she keeps doing things which get on my nerves. Oh why can't she just understand that I have no place for any other female, other than my mate. If she continues her silly advances, I will have to get her eliminated.

"I think she still tries to lure the Alpha king." Rao laughed.

"Oh Yeah. I forgot. But she should stop now that our real Luna is here." Blyke replied looking at Arlo.

"I'm not sure, but it looked innocent as, it looked like she was retiring to bed and I came in abruptly. It was somewhere my fault. I should have waited till morning-" Arlo got cut off by Blyke replying.

"Then that wasn't innocent. She had asked me to let you know that she is waiting for you to talk. And she would visit you if you allow."

"Then there is no way she would get ready to close the day when a meeting with king is expected." Rao said as he sighed.

"I'm silent just because her mother had served my parents and had also done some good work around." Arlo stopped for a while and again continued,"That doesn't mean she should keep doing stuff like this and get away with it. Give her a warning that if she does anything to seduce me in

future, I will have her head." Arlo had spoken using his Alpha King voice, which means it has to be done at the earliest and he is not bluffing around. He uses it when anger starts controlling his other emotions and at that time, he only wants one thing Submission.

"Yes, Alpha King, Arlo." Both of Rao and Blyke bowed .

With that Arlo vanished again, and stopped at Leilah's room.
