EPISODE 10

With that Arlo vanished again, and stopped at Leilah's room.

He camouflaged with the walls inside her room, and watched her as she looked very tensed about what happened earlier. Since the room lights were put off, he wouldn't have been noticed anyways.

ARLO

You have a strong human scent. Then how can you have traces of a witch? I'll send Rao to get to know about your past and family. And if they are here in the castle, then they shall be produced in front of me as soon as possible. I can't fully trust that witch doctor.

I then looked at her talking to herself.

"Was it a person? The body felt like one but the eyes looked so scary and not fit for a human. They were like the same I had imagined on King's face when I first opened my eyes."

It was only me, my lovely mate. Go back to sleep so that I can kiss you a good night and I can sleep peacefully.

"I can't wait to see King myself. I hope he isn't arrogant and prudish. If he is good then I will tell him about the creature I saw at night. I just hope he doesn't laugh at me for saying that. It sounds a bit ridiculous, but it is true. Wonder what he would think about it when I say. But I have to inform him." Leilah again talked with herself.

"Already having to lean on me for things? Aahh weak humans." Arlo rolled his eyes as he thought.

"Or I could go and talk to Blyke. He will surely help. Plus he is cute."

"What the hell? And why him? I am here for you. I'll send him to find out about your family, instead of Rao then." Arlo thought to himself again as he glared at Leilah.

"Yup. I'll just see King and inform him about my health. As for the creature thing, I will talk to Blyke or even Rao is good." Leilah giggled as she talked with herself.

"Talk to me. You don't need to think of anyone else, when I am here." Arlo whispered.

"King is handsome though." Leilah thought.

Arlo blushed furiously. His hands went to his ears and he got a cute grin on. He has never reacted to any girl talking about him like that. There have been many who had and still have crush on him. They have done a lot of things to attract his attention towards them including praising him when he isn't around as they are aware of him having ultra-superior hearing sense. But he never felt anything towards anyone, until now. Arlo felt blood rushing towards his cheeks and butterflies tickling his stomach. King was howling and dancing in his head.

"Please let me just hug her for once. Make her unconscious and then hug her. Just do anything, but I want to feel her for once please." King pleaded making Arlo sigh.

"Have you lost it, King? She is alone in the room. I am not here. She can't see me and has no feelings for me right now. she will talk to me tomorrow, till then you have to wait. I will give her a handshake or something to satisfy your craving to feel her."

"Why are you delaying things so much? Can't you just explain everything to her? Tell her everything about yourself about how she is chosen for you...and how you are her true mat-"

Arlo cut him off.

"And watch her run away from me with fear? Never. You must have patience king. Remember what the moon goddess had told us, "we have to very patient in case we find our mate. They tend to reject if things are done hurriedly or without proper thinking. It is a miracle that we have actually found our mate. We have waited for centuries for her, so why are you hurrying when you can remain calm and wait for her to open up a bit. It has not even been a day that she is here and you are behaving as if she is here from ages and I haven't made a move. Give me some time and don't pressurize me. You have always been so supportive to me and my decisions, what happened to you now?"

"A female can make you do a lot of things you never did before. You remember that old wolf who was betrayed by his mate? He said that once a female is in your life, she can either make or break you. It's the same for me. I need her to stroke my head atleast once." King snorted.

Arlo sighed and said,"You know that is practically impossible."

"It is very possible, if you take Blyke's help."

"Are you really serious?" Arlo asked to confirm again.

"Never been more serious in life." King replied seriously.

"Okay, fine. If you say so." Arlo then teleported to Blyke's room to put his plan in action.

Leilah was still self-talking when she heard a knock on her door. She stood up scared and Berlooked for the baseball bat, but it was nowhere to be found. Just then she remembered that it went missing the moment she suspiciously ended up on bed. She quickly took the bottom of a lampshade and walked towards the door.

"Hey Leilah, are you asleep?" Blyke said as he knocked at the door.

"Oh it's Blyke." She said to herself and quickly put on the lights and opened the door and saw Blyke.

"Hey Leilah, I was passing by and thought of checking on you." Blyke said.

"You should have been here a few moments back. You won't believe what happened-" she stopped as she saw a very cute yet strong looking overgrown dog standing right next to him. She smiled at the dog like animal. She had no idea it was Arlo, in his wolf form King.

He made himself appear cuter and smaller like a normal dog, but he still looked bigger compared to the normal ones.

"Is it yours?" She asked Blyke.

"No, he is Arlo's. I mean, King's." Blyke replied.

"So King's name is Arlo. Nice name. Arlo."

Hearing that King started wagging his tail and Arlo grinning inside holding his ears again.

"And what is his name?" She asked pointing at the dog.

"His name is King."

"What? The king has named his dog as King. Wow. The name quite suits him. He is a charmer." She then crouched to King's level and patted it. But she didn't expect it to jump on her and lick her whole face.

She felt tickles wherever it licked. It was more of sparks. She loved the feeling.

"Hey. stop. You're so cute, so cuddly."

"I would love to cuddle with you all day." King thought.

"Shut up. only I can cuddle with Leilah. You have to wait for her wolf for that." Arlo said feeling a bit jealous.

Leilah finally gathered some power and decided to hold it still. She then cupped its cheeks and kissed its forehead lovingly. She saw a blue colour patch forming at the place where she just kissed.

"Oh my god, Blyke. Is it allergic to something? Its skin is turning to a light blue colour where I kissed." Leilah said worriedly that she may have caused harm to the King's dog, but Blyke on the other hand looked overjoyed and kinda scared.

"You- you kissed him?"
