JUDE’S POV
I can still feel Aya’s loud heartbeat and I can tell that she’s scared, and yet it frustrates me that there’s nothing I can do or say that will make her feel okay. Naiintindihan ko ang pinangaggalingan niya. Naiintindihan ko ang takot niya dahil maski ako ay nakakaramdam noon. Natatakot ako sa naghihintay para sa amin ni Aya.
I sighed in frustration. A few more minutes, I could already see the mansion. I felt Aya remove her hands from my waist. I almost wanted to stop her, but I didn’t do. It’s a clear reminder of the reality between us.
