Attached by name to one, but attached by destiny to the other

Teenage years are full of confusion when it comes to what to wear, eat or study... Also when it comes to dating. Unfortunately for me I had already got stuck in a relationship that began with deep love or so I thought... Jake was completely the opposite of what I've ever imagined my boyfriend would be like so the thrill really got me thinking I should give it a try... I mean whats the worst that could happen. My name BTW is Shaina and this is the start of why my life is messed up at the moment. Love has the weird way of getting mixed up with infatuation, being a teenager is a whole mix up too. I met Jake in freshman year, we both had every class together. I'm the outgoing, friendly, talkative, loud and happy type while he is more of the observant, dominant, controlling and selfish type. So we were poles apart when it came to personalities but hidden in our home lives we had a lot of similarities...I'm from a single parent home and he is from a double parent home. Our parents provided us with our basics but were absent as active parents. There was no motivation or positive outcome... It was just a unhealthy and unhappy home. That was our only common element. After 3 months of being around each other, he broke the ice and said hi would you join me for lunch at the cafeteria, I was beyond shocked but I wasn't gonna be rude so I said yes. The buzzer went off and so did Jake and I for lunch. We sat in silence at first, but I had to know why did he ask me to join him for lunch, so I asked him. He just looked at me and said its cause I've been watching you and you are different. I was stunned because for the first time I had not been prepared to hear that. I just carried on eating until he gave me his phone and I saw it was open on the dialer, I took it as a invitation to enter my number and save it. Jake's eyes traveled my face to my hand and back to my eyes.. I shivered and felt so nervous. Thankfully the buzzer rang and break was over. I just couldn't get my mind off the look he gave me, it was such a weird feeling that I got.
