The Kite
While Rong Hua-the second daughter of the Chan State migestrate lying in bed and about to close her eyes.
She heard her brothers voice crying. The voice becomes louder and louder.
At first Rong Hua ignores it but the longer it is the more she gets annoyed.
Rong Hua couldn’t take the noise that her brothers made until she decided to search where her brothers voice come from. She rapidly get up and walk towards the door and walk straight to the hallway.
As she was about to leave her room she suddenly recall that her bracelet wasn’t with her, she rushed back into her bed to find it but the situation really plays with her. She search her room and found it in the cabinet. Rong Hua rapidly put the bracelet into her arms and rushed out to the door.
As she’s walking to the hallway to find her brother, she noticed something strange at the big rock outside the house where it is surrounded by the flower that blooms. She noticed somethings moving around the flowers, out of curiosity Rong Hua heed to the direction quietly to avoid being noticed.
She taught that it was a bad guy who stole one of her beloved and favorite flowers, besides it was her cat Luka ( a mysterious black cat who can detect where the voice come from) who loves to stay in the garden to catch some insects.
She picks Luka up and brought it together with her to find her brother.
Rong Hua continue searching her brother around their area. As they are looking around, Rong Hua noticed someone’s staring at her and she felt that it is heading towards her direction. She suddenly felt fear for it was the first time of her wondering alone as she was always accompanied and together with her sister.
Rong Hua ignored the fear she felt and continue searching for her brother until her foot bring her to the fountain where it is surrounded by small rocks with one peach blossom tree around.
She walk closer to the fountain and saw her brother Rong Guan-Rong Hua’s little brother, crying while staring above the tree.
“Rong Guan what happened why are you here? “ Rong Hua asked her brother while sluggishly sit beside him.
“Sister, sister my kite I want my kite back hmm, “Rong Guan said with his fingers pointed at the branch of a tree.
Rong Hua looked at the placed where her brother pointed his fingers,as Rong Hua is paying attention to the direction where her brother told her. She found the kite of her brother being stocked at the towering branch of the tree.
“Rong Guan what about I’ll buy you a better one” Rong Hua said as she comfort her brother.
“No, I don’t want a better one hmmm….. hmmmm mm……….. I only want the one I have."
“Great that’s a man from the Rong family, loyal” Rong Hua said.
After saying those words she suddenly shut her mouth and think of a way of how can she get back her brothers kite.
After a few seconds she come up of a way to get it back. She decided to climb to the tree without any hesitation to pleased Rong Guan.
Rong Hua tardily climb and hold to the branch of a tree until she get to touch/pull the kite.
“Sister keep going”Rong Guan said as he saw his sister slowly reach the place where it is stocked.
“Sister, watch out”, Rong Guan said as he witness her sister arduously get the kite.
As Rong Hua continuesly extend her arms her father Rong Jin the country’s migestrate suddenly appeared.
“Rong Hua what are you doing? “her father nervously and angrily said.
While Rong Hua’s continuesly get the kite,she heard her fathers voice and got nervous. Her feet slip at the branch of the tree which made her fall to the ground and become unconscious. She broke her arm as well as the bracelet.
“Somebody help, somebody help” Rong Jin screamed as she witnessed her daughter fall into the ground and become unconscious.
Rong Jin called their servant to help bring Rong Hua inside in their house and to give her daughter a treatment.
As he called their servant. Rong Su Niang, wife of the Chan State migestrate, and Rong Hua’s, mother as well as Rong Suan also heard Rong Jin’s voice screaming for help.
As Rong SU Niang and Rong Suan heard of it they hurriedly come to see what is going on outside.
As they arrived to the spot where Rong Jins voice come from, they found Rong Hua unconsciously lying on the ground with her hand wounded. And with the help of their servant they are able to bring Rong Hua inside the house.
As they brought her to the house they urgently commanded one of the servant to find and bring the doctor into their house to give and provide a treatment.
The servant hurriedly call the Rong families personal doctor.
And as the wound was being treated she still remained unconscious which made her parent to worry too much.
The servant, Rong Suan, and Rong Su Niang decided to stay in her room to keep guard on her.After a while, they decided to try to wake her up.
Rong Su Niang called her daughter by name.
“Rong Hua, Rong Hua”
Rong Hua felt as if someone is calling her.
“Rong Hua wake up…… “
She turned her head away, but the sounds she had just heard didn’t disappear, instead it became even louder. Then she felt someone gently rub her hands.
Rong Hua opened her eyes immediately.And as she opened her eyes she found her mom, her sister, and their servant brightly smile as they see her being back in conscious.
As she sees them she wandered why they surrounded her and why she’s in her room.
“Mom, sister, what happened, what are you guys doing in my room, what happened to my hands? “ Rong Hua said.
“Are you going to show off? “
You claimed so high to bring down the kite for Rong Guan”
You fell straight from the tree and were unconscious for a day . Her mother sadly replied to her with a tears in her eyes that were about to fall off.
She noticed her mother’s reaction and understand her feeling. To comfort her, she told her mother “Mom, I’m sorry."
She shift and extend her arms to comfort her mom as she say those words. As she move, she suddenly felt something in her arms.
“Ouch, it hurts”she said as she’s paying attention into her wound.
“Don’t worry the doctor said its just a scratch, but somehow you couldn’t come around”.
