Tora noticed the change in Sylvain. A shift. A slow, creeping coldness seeping into his gaze. He hadn’t moved. Yet the look, the one he had when she first met him, was fighting to surface. Was he battling within himself? She held his stare, unmoving, feeling the weight of it pressing in. "Are you fighting against killing me or letting me live again?" Her voice carried a hint of ice. Sylvain finally blinked, and just like that, the rising darkness faded. "Theanna, do not say that." Tora wiped away the last of her tears, steadying herself. She wouldn’t admit it, but somehow, he had pulled her back to normal. She exhaled, watching him carefully.
