I listened to my mate f**k my maid for five years.

Right here beside my hospital bed.

“When you stand by her bed,” Frost gasped beneath my mate’s thrusts, “are you thinking of your Luna… or how you f****d me here?”

“Don’t.” Caleb answered, his voice low, his rhythm never slowing.

“She’s always my Luna. I need her.”

Frost laughed, breathless and soft.“Sure, Alpha. But when the lights go out, only I know whose name you really moan.”

No. I knew it. I heard clearly for five years.

My fated mate, the father of my twins, the man I fought for and nearly died for, betrayed me while I lay unconscious after childbirth.

But what I never expected was that my puppies would choose her too.

I was done listening to betrayal from the shadows.

It was time to take back what was mine.

The thought of their faces when they realized I was awake made me smile.

I reached for the phone by my bed when they left and pressed the button.

“I’m awake.”

Episode 1
Clara’s POV I had been listening to my mate f*****g my maid for five long years. Tonight, in the fifth year of my coma, my eyes finally snapped open. I gasped for air, and my heart pounded like war drums. The nightmare didn’t end when I woke—it just changed shape. But almost instantly, I followed the sounds coming from the window. I wasn’t in our bedroom with Caleb. This was a hospital room. The air smelled of his scent, of a woman, and…the clear sounds of flesh colliding. When my eyes focused, I saw him. My husband. The one destined for me, the father of my puppies, was pressing my maid Frost against the windowsill, roughly entering her from behind. “Oh, Alpha,” Frost gasped, her voice dripping with satisfaction. “Harder, please…” “Shut up,” Caleb growled, fingers digging into her hips. “The nurse could come in any minute. Be quick.” Their lewd noises filled the sterile air, each wet slap cutting into me like a blade. “Ahhh… Alpha,” Frost moaned again, arching against him. “When you stand by her bed, are you thinking of Luna… or how you f****d me here?” My blood turned to ice. That b***h. Caleb had brought her into the pack to take care of me when I was pregnant. And now—this? His hand slid up to her chest, squeezing hard. “Don’t. She’s always my Luna.” Frost only laughed breathlessly. “Sure, Alpha. But when the lights go out, only I know whose name you really moan.” She was wrong about one thing—I knew. I had known every single time. Five years ago, I was the Luna everyone admired. My wolf was the strongest Luna soul our pack had seen in decades—fierce, sharp-minded, and born for war. Together, we fought countless battles, expanding our territory and protecting our pack. Caleb, my mate, always said I was his pride. And the Moon Goddess rewarded us too. I got pregnant—with his twins! When I heard the news, I was over the moon. I thought our lives were finally complete. But a week before I was due to give birth, rogues attacked our borders. And Caleb was nowhere to be found. No one knew where he went. My mindlink calls went unanswered. So I stood up, heavy with our pups, and led our warriors myself. It was a night of blood and fire. Screams. Smoke. The metallic scent of war in the air. When the rogues finally retreated, victory meant nothing—because that was when I realized… my water had already broken. Dr. Damian said my condition was critical. The pups were in danger too. He looked at me with pity in his eyes and whispered that he might have to save me first, that I might lose them. But I shook my head. “No,” I told him. “Save my puppies. Please” That was all I cared about. Caleb’s heirs and his throne. The bleeding made me black out. I thought I was gone forever. But I was back, even if my eyes couldn’t open. And worse, my wolf had vanished. I cannot feel her anymore. But my mind was clear. I could hear everything and every time when Caleb pretended to be the perfect loyal Alpha whenever he visited. Every time he sent the nurse away for “a private time with my mate.” and the moans come after that. For five years. Caleb roared, his thrusts becoming more violent. The room filled with groans and growls but I stared wide-eyed at the ceiling, unblinking. Two light bulbs, the IV line, and… Caleb's f*****g shadow. I gripped the sheets tightly, lest I suddenly leap up and growl at them. Close your eyes and take a deep breath, Clara.Think of your puppies. Okay, good job girl, one more time. I did as I said. Tears streamed down my face. I captured everything—their move from the windowsill to the sofa, then finally to my side. Every thrust, every moan, every whispered endearment that should have been mine—became an insult to me and my puppies. "That's it," Caleb groaned, his face contorting with pleasure as Frost wrapped her legs around his waist. "Take it all, you little whore." "Yes, Alpha," she cried out, her nails raking down his back. "Show your Luna how you feed me!" That broke me. It pointed out the truth cruelly—my mate betrayed me when I had almost died giving him everything. How could he? Finally, the room went quiet again. Only soft, slowing breaths remained. Clothes rustled and Frost’s sickly sweet voice drifted near. “I know you’ll be gone the moment Luna wakes… but I just hope she wakes soon, so she can properly handle her duties as Luna.” “No,” Caleb said coldly, gripping my chin hard enough to hurt. “I don’t need a mate who would threaten my position. She just needs to stay the perfect Luna—lying here in silence, scaring off rogues with her name, but never stealing my spotlight.” My stomach twisted and my throat burned, but thank goddess, after all these years without food, there was nothing left for me to throw up now. I forced back my tears, afraid a single drop would ruin my act. Even now, I still want to protect **** little dignity I have left. “Alpha, visiting hours are over,” the nurse called from outside. Caleb’s hand instantly softened on my face, his voice turning gentle again, like the perfect husband. “All right,” he said tenderly. “I’m leaving now.” “My love, wake up soon… I’ll be waiting. Always.” he bent down to press a kiss to my forehead. “Alpha, you’re so devoted to Luna,” the nurse praised. “Five years, every week—you’ve been so good to her. She’s so lucky.” Lucky. I almost laughed aloud. Such a young fool—seeing only the mask. If she knew what happened after the door closed. After the door clicked shut, I sat upright immediately gagging violently. My stomach ached—not just from weakness, but from the heartbreak clawing at me. I tore the blanket off and tried to stand. My legs gave out immediately, pain shooting up my spine. Gritting my teeth, I crawled toward the window. The black Bentley waited below. It's my first anniversary gift from Caleb. The back door opened—and two small figures ran out. My breath caught. Ethan. Emilia. My pups. I hadn’t seen them grow, and I hadn’t watched their first steps. But I knew—they were mine. But then… they ran straight into Frost’s arms. “Mommy!” Emilia squealed, pressing her face against Frost’s neck. Mommy. My heart sank. Frost lifted her, smiling like she’d earned it. Caleb stood beside them, proud. A perfect family. Without me. I froze when Emilia seemed to sense something and suddenly looked up toward my window. Our eyes met and instinctively, I reached up and brushed the messy hair from my forehead, forcing a small smile. But she recoiled as if startled, clutching Frost tightly and pointing toward the window. Before they could turn to see, I slipped behind the curtain, unable to stop the tears streaming down my face. When did I disappear from their lives exactly? When I closed my eyes? Or before that? Only when I heard the car driving away did I move again. I pressed the call button beside the bed. “Hi, I’m awake,” I said, short and firm.
