I looked down at them and strained my ears to make sure I didn’t miss a single word. "How did they take the news?" She laughed and my anger flared up. A baby, she can’t possibly be pregnant with that mutts child?
"Emily is ecstatic, Jace and I both think she will go buy out a whole baby store by the time this little one is born." She is pregnant! I was seeing red, I had to calm myself down before I gave myself away. I took deep breaths in hoping not to give myself away and to keep myself from attacking them and taking her right now. I opened my eyes as she took a small box from her mother.
"You couldn't have been that busy to notice that we all missed your birthday a few days ago. You really did forget didn't you? That's okay, just blame the baby." I watched as they laughe
