I looked at Marisol as she put on an all black dress that went down to her mid calf. She was absolutely breathtaking. I wrapped my arms around her and she grabbed my arms with her hands. “It’s almost time.” She whispered, I could hear her voice shake slightly. I didn’t want her to hide her emotions, she needs to feel comfortable to let them out.
I set my chin on her shoulder and took a deep breath. “I know, I am not ready for this either. She was like a mother to me.” I told her softly as our eyes connected.
