Arc

In the year 3102, as always, humans never found peace. Nations killed, conquered, and fought for what they believe is right and patriotic. This is until the northern star, "Polaris", exploded and created debris which fell to earth. This debris contained egg-like structures that contained otherworldly beings. These beings gravely reduced the Earth's population more, forcing everyone onto a single island. As humanity gradually loses hope, sleeping creatures begin to surface. Dwarves who were known to be small in folklore stories are as huge as giants. Elves look exactly as they do and Orcs raised from the barrens of Sahara. This sleeping folklore decided to finally appear in human eyes and helped them successfully eradicate these otherworldly lifeforms in exchange that humanity should be wary of their innovations. To everyone's surprise, they became more fond of human technology and innovation. Adapting to their hordes, creating digital cities and eventually ruining Earth further. 333 years passed and there was no longer space for everyone. Not enough food supply and natural resources and cities became borderless neighbors. The leaders began blaming each other, and peace was once again tarnished. In the human city of Perle, near Fishman borders. A boy named Arc was desperately looking for his life's purpose. He doesn't know what he is, he has no goals or dreams either. Up until one night while staring at the night sky, he saw what seemed to be the northern star, the star that had once exploded. He followed it for days and eventually reached where he started. He keeps following the stars, but he always ends up in the same spot. Confused, he laid on his back and suddenly found a bracelet. He tried to pick up the bracelet but upon picking it up, a hooded girl suddenly appeared and picked up the bracelet at the same time. This caused them to touch each other and look at each other in the eye. Arc suddenly ran as he was confused as to what he felt. As he was running, he was captured by the 3 men and knocked him unconscious. A couple of hours passed and Arc finally woke up. He woke in a unfamiliar place. Suddenly, a young girl began deeply apologizing and explaining that it was her bodyguards who knocked him unconsciousness for misunderstanding and being overly protective. The girl then introduced herself as "Yuna". A girl with beautiful black hair and natural beauty. Yuna smiled and put her hoody on so that Arc would remember her. Embarrased, Arc introduced himself in a timid manner barely producing a sound. After a couple of minutes, someone loudly knocked on the door. To everyone's panic, one of Yuna's bodyguard carried Arc and jumped out of the window as he was not meant to be in that place. The door opened and suddenly the President of the Humans arrived. Turns out he was Yuna's father and, like a typical politician, doesn't like his hand to be stained. President Ferdinand wouldn't let a single piece of dirt inside his house and would always thoroughly wash his hands while murmuring every time he touched a poor person. A few kilometers away, the bodyguard released Arc and told him to stay away from this place ever again. Lost, Arc aimlessly until he reached the town of Escario. The deserted battlefield between humans and orcs. He kept on walking, barely paying attention to his surroundings. Until, a red orc attacked him, jumping from the top floor of a destroyed hotel. Arc's life flashed before his eyes, until suddenly, his arms were glowing with blooded light. Arc was shocked as the bracelet started glowing. He never noticed it and was confused about why he had that bracelet. Using his hands as a shield, a surge of blood lighting surges and killed the Red Orc. After defeating the Red Orc, he receives a hologram notification that he leveled up. Not knowing what to do since he was a person who never touched a single gadget. Arc took it as a hallucination and started touching the notification. To his surprise, a menu setting opened up like a video game. He looked through and saw an equipped item, a "Compatability Bracelet". He pressed on the bracelet, and it was stated that, "This bracelet is entirely based on the user". Confused about what it meant, Arc ignored it and started walking. Upon walking, he got annoyed that the hologram never disappeared. He tried smashing, pinching and other forms of trick to make it go away. Until he accidentally yelled out, "Close", which closed that hologram. In a distance, looking at Arc, there is a shadow figure who seems to have pointy ears and a tail, mocking the ignorance of Arc and making fun of him. Arc noticed him and they began to look at each other. -
