To the Next Destination!

“Mmm… An unknown Glitch appeared and devoured the Cerberus?”

“Yes sir. However, it was defeated by the Glints who defended the city.”

Situated inside a room are two individuals talking about the recent incident. The room is large, and if weren’t for a single lamp on the table that illuminated dimly, the room would’ve been in eternal darkness.

The man sitting in front of the table crossed his arms, wondering what monstrosity this Glitch that has never been known until now would do to the world if it wasn’t destroyed. More than that, he’s wondering how the Glints manage to defeat such a monster without any vital information about it.

“So, are there any news about the ‘Wanderlust’ Glitch and its current whereabouts?”

Of course, he’s curious about that Glitch, but he can’t ignore that threat lurking around the world.

“Sir, aren’t you interested in that creature, sir?”

“Of course I am. But there’s no need to worry about that since it’s dead, and AGA, our viable source of information, is not giving out information yet. However, that Glitch, the ‘Wanderer’, That Glitch keeps on destroying airships. At this rate, our economy would be in the red fast. And without it, our country and its people would succumb to death.”

“I-I see. I’m sure that you’re more concerned with the well-being of our people. As expected of you, sir!”

“I’m just doing what I can to make our country better. You may be excused now.”

“Yes, sir! I’ll take my leave.”

As soon as his subordinate left the room, the man sighed out of relief.

“Dang it, I can’t rest easy yet. I would’ve hoped that that pesky Glitch was included in that mess in Maiden’s Island. But no, it’s still flying out there. What should I do? I don’t even know what it actually looks like! No one did! Guh, I want to take a vacation.”

He puts his hand on his head and started scratching it out of frustration.

“I really want to have a vacation. Argh… I hate being an adult.”

“YAY! The sea! Journey to the sea!”

“Calm down, Wenn.”

“But, I never enjoyed the sea, not even once.”

I watched Sven and Wenn enjoying the view, with Wenn being the overhyped one, as we were on a ship heading to…no, not the “Land of No Return” – were going first to Knuckle City, the sole city within an island northeast of Maiden’s Shroud City, and East of Greg Island.

My name is Rylai Lux, and we’re off for a new adventure.

I’m a soloist up until now.

I have my companions.

One of them is Reme, my foster brother that I once thought was resting six feet under, which is very saddening, was being revived and became a Fallen. He’s wearing a pitch-black shirt that could be able to hide his Fallen Blood Crystal on his chest from being seen. The rest of what he’s wearing is of lighter color, specifically yellow, from the cap, the jacket (he’s wearing it despite the hot weather), his pants, down to his shoes.

Next is Wenn, a Glitch whom Sven considered a family. She’s an Aero Morph who was once bullied and died after being brutally harassed by people who saw her as a threat. She’s wearing the same gothic outfit. She did like it after wearing it for quite some time while she was still under control.

And the last is Sven, the hard-working individual, a [Rogue Knight]. He’s the one I entrusted with my Tech Sword. He’s a reliable ally that would recklessly charge to give his party members get some room to breathe and prepare for a counterattack.

Reme isn’t here yet. We asked him to get some beverage in the fridge, and he just shrugged while saying, “This should do it. I don’t eat or sleep so it’s an automatic push? That’s crazy.”

We are in the next phase of our adventure together. I wonder what’s going to happen.
