“Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!”
“Tch. You’re too pesky to be true. Death— Guh!”
The Glitch hit my side with its [Tentacle]once again. I was thrown away after being whipped and was about to be sliced by one of the maidens with its sword but I manage to repel the clone with a Burst Shot.
I’m already sluggish. This is a normal body of a person after all. It’s been three minutes since I got engaged in battle. I could say that I mistreated this body. I don’t have the absolute confidence to use it well, just like when my original was active. But now, she’s not here for I have sent her to an isolated space to train. I need to focus here and make the damage to a bare minimum. The original won’t love it if she comes back here with a body full of injuries.
This isn’t good.
“Hey, kid? Are you alright?”
“Stop questioning the obvious thing, mister.”
“Ah, sorry about that. Please bear with me.”
“Yeah, I know. I’ll do what I can.”
The voice once again goes silent as I evaded a horizontal strike from the battle ax-wielding maiden. I was hoping to destroy all of these maidens but their good coordination even without the three destroyed ones, not to mention that there’s that retard boss shooting skills like it’s nothing! I seriously want to evade that corrupting fire but to do that, I need to face the enemy’s beams here and there, hitting the ground rapidly. I did all sorts of motion I could think of but with my now sluggish body, I’m often being scratched by some attacks.
“Haah… Haah… Dang, it’s getting more and more difficult.”

“I was hoping for a better shot but it seems I can’t get used to it just yet.”
I finished fighting the enemy Griffin before, and now I’m already traveling towards Crystal City, the place where I had fought with a strong enemy, a Fallen.
After I defeated the Griffins and saw my uhh…stats (seriously, what’s with that?), a note written on some sort of paper (it’s a bit synthetic to touch) appeared in front of me. I picked it up and read what’s on it.
“Hello, original persona.
I made it this isolated plane to the likeness of each place that you’ve visited. I hope you like it.
Putting that aside, I would like you to continue your journey ‘til you see it through the end. The enemy will appear according to the time sequence you fought them. During those fights, you’ve been accompanied by people. This time, however, you’re not. So please be careful.
As for the enemies, the Glitches are, of course, modified to become elites, to make you more experienced for everything that’ll come in the future. As for the Fallen, their performance is still the same. I didn’t tinker anything with the difficulty level because they ARE already domineering when you met them before.
Please don’t ask how I obtained the precise information about them.
Sincerely,
Alter
PS. I don’t know what you’re doing right now since I’m still fighting against an absurd Glitch here who’s caving inside a rift in the space. It’s not that there’s a time limit but please come back as soon as possible.”
“Okay…thanks for this, Alter. So that’s your name, huh? Is that what you wanted me to call you? Wait, am I thinking it in reverse? Ugh, my thoughts are now jumbled up. Oh well, I’m going to train here as she advised me to.
Now, if what was written on the note is correct, then my next opponent would be…

TRAVELLER’S ROUTE, Emerald City – Blue Town (Alternate Plane)
???
Here I am on the exact same spot where Sven fought the animated calcium guys. Come to think of it, I still remember how we met here. He’s about to deliver something to his grandmother. He is six levels beyond my level during that time. I could no longer bring up that level comparison now that my level as well as most of my stats were obstructed by a skill. Sigh…
Oh yeah, why did he stutter during that time? Am I that rare to smile?
I started walking towards the grassy fields beside the road to face those moving bones this time. I am thankful to them for bringing Sven’s potential to a certain extent that he matches the Authority Level of my Tech Sword before he could become his eternal partner.
Authority Level is there to determine or to test whether a person is worthy to use a piece of equipment or not. Authority Level seldom exists on mass-produced products, and if it does, it’s quite low. It is often the one-of-a-kind ones that have it, the high standard Authority Level. My Tech Sword is different though. I set its Authority Level to low and ought to sell it to someone for five hundred million Omegas. I changed my mind when I saw Sven and gave it for free. It’s worth it.
The Glitches appeared in front of me as I prepared my Tech Gloves (honestly, I don’t know why I still got to use it here. I’m not complaining though) for a fight.
Skeleton Warrior, Elite
Glitch Level 150
HP: 78000/78000MP: not available
Strength: 9000
Dexterity: 50
Constitution: 92000
Intelligence: 35
Skill:
[Hardened / PASSIVE]
- The defense is tripled.
State:
[Reanimated]
- This Glitch can’t be eliminated without destroying its core.
I really don’t want to call them this but they’re still weak and slowpokes, despite the buff they got in this isolated plane. But I acknowledge that this is quite tedious to destroy them. I need to aim for the head, and I hope that I can eradicate them swiftly.
Wish me luck.
“GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
“GWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!”
“GIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!”
The Skeleton Warriors are doing some sort of cheering to themselves as they hold their mace up in the air.
I guess it’s some kind of morale boost.
They started coming towards me…as fast as they could. But er, they’re so slow!
Well, this is still part of the training regimen. So I’ll just…do what I can.
Several hours later the amount of the Skeleton Warriors, which counts to a hundred, is now reduced to forty percent. To put it simply, there are still sixty skeletons that were still standing, but for some reason, I notice that they’re getting sturdier with each Skeleton Warrior I destroy.
When I peek at their stats, I now know the reason why.

- This Glitch can’t be eliminated without destroying its core.
Hidden State: Undead Bonds (Activated)
- Whenever a Skeleton Warrior within fifty meters dies, a part of its stats would be transferred up to a certain extent.
Now, I shall retract my earlier statement. They’re not weak anymore.
And it’s pumping me up.

“So, you’re one of those battle maniacs who love to brawl all day long. Sorry though, I’m not that lenient enough to let you roam around unscathed.”
“Guh, you’re way too tough, even I have enough power to dominate you…”
I and this Fallen were fighting non-stop ever since we parted ways with Sven.
He keeps on sprinting and did a swift movement while encircling me, then punch at me on a whim. However, as I’ve told him just now, I’m not that lenient to make him any more movements.
I agree that he’s stronger than me in terms of strength. However, in terms of sealing capabilities, nothing could compare to my shield’s and sword’s sealing properties.

I already hit him for the 22nd time.
Only one more hit to go.
The reason that I am only able to hit him only a few times is thanks to his sheer dexterity. If I had only relied on my eyes, I would’ve been defeated immediately. The reason why I could block and parry his attacks is due to me feeling his bloodlust. It sounds crazy, but I closed my eyes since it’s pretty useless as I’m concentrating on feeling the environment.
“This is the end of you.”
“Heh. End of me? You could barely hit me.”
