Syakila, my foster mom, asked about my well-being as I kept on sighing.

"I kept on sighing because I'm too tardy to read this new activity..."

"Hmm? Let me see."

I handed her the papers. She read right through it and returned it to me.

"Ain't that important? That's the ranking system of the Glints. It might help you."

"But I'm not a Glint! I don't even have an active Mantle in the first place!"

"I know that", Syakila said with a chuckle. "However, you need to know about this and with this, you could determine the difficulty level of a mission, you see. For instance, if someone says that the case requires the rank of Sergeant above... That would say that the Glitch they're facing is a low-tier one."

I'm still not convinced but... It's for the sake of grades.

The low-tier Glitches could be handled by the Private, Private Second Class, Private First Class, and Specialist. The threat rank is only F. Low-tier Glitches could also be watched for information by a one-star informant.

Still a low-tier, but the upper ones will be handled by the people with the ranks of Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Sergeant First Class, Master Sergeant, First Sergeant, Sergeant Major, Combat Sergeant Major, and Sergeant Major of the Glints. The informant who could accompany me would be the two-star informants.

The lower middle tier of Glitches could be handled by the ones bearing the ranks Warrant Officer 1, Chief Warrant Officer 2, Chief Warrant Officer 3, Chief Warrant Officer 4, Chief Warrant Officer 5, Second Lieutenant, First Lieutenant, and Captain. Three-star informants often travel with them.

The upper-middle tier from the Glitches can be handled by people with ranks of Major, Lieutenant Colonel, and Colonel. Four-star is the key to better teamwork. However, if your team prioritized scouting first, it is the four-star informant that will be needed.

Lastly, the ones that are in the high category, the high-tier Glitches could only be used by people who have Brigadier major General, Major General, Lieutenant General, General, and General of the Glints.

Thankfully, the people could just easily know about this thanks to a rumored incident that happened while I'm offline.

Also, there have been rumors that this rank system would later be changed to a better version. I do hope that it happen. I swear.
