"Tch! This is just the same as that time in Silver Island."

I kept on evading some vines that were going ballistic and hit randomly on the area. Wenn turned herself into wind, allowing all attacks coming towards her to phase through.

I don't have that ability though.

"Sis! The flower bud, it's crystalizin'!"

"What?"

No way.

Isn't this more or less the same thing that precisely happened in Silver Island? If that's the case, that Dryad will become...

No let's not rush things here. That stupid red crystal I fought against doesn't have a flower bud on its center. Moreover, it's a Crystal Golem that's been corrupted and was placed there to sabotage the place.

"Wha—"

Lost to my thoughts, I almost got myself pierced by an incoming stab attack from one of those vines. I evaded it by ducking, and shot it with my Tech Gloves.

Ah, it's not it's name anymore...but I prefer calling it this way.

"Wenn, hit it with your [Wind s***h]!"

"I'm already on it!"

Despite our efforts, the enemy just got this insane regeneration and I can't even hit it with a status condition thanks to its vines. It would have ben a different story if the vines and that flower bud are one but it's not. The vines were from a different being, and it's something that's been affected by my skill.

Geez, talk about two-on-two.

"Goddess? Is something wrong?"

"Oh, sorry Ferni. There's nothing wrong. Let's continue our breakfast, shall we? This is your one of your rare vacations after all."

I am Syakila, the second foster parent of Rylai Lux, the so-called five-star informant. I'm sitting in our kitchen, of course, as we take our breakfast. The chirping birds and the dazzling sun aren't the reasons why I turned my head to the window.

I just don't get it, this sensation. Is this some kind of premonition? It felt like something is going to happen to someone I knew.
