after mine and Lilly's conversation ended i looked down at my phone only moving my eyes to look at her i watched her get o7 of the car and i started to get out of the car my salf and when i got out i daw her with Katie in her arms and they were spinning around and giggling and i just smiled and tried not to go to them and hold them in my arms because i may be falling in love with lilly but she has trauma she is trying to heal from what happened to her all i want to do is kill the asshole that raped her but i cant all i can do is try to help her heal when i was about to say something to lilly when Katie said katie: hey uncle cole what are you doing here. i looked her in the eyes and said cole: i am here to show you and your mom around the city so when you guys are out and about you won't get lost. abd she just nodded and we all got in the car.

(later at the pizza place. lilly's pov)

we are just pulling up to the pizza place and Katie was jumping up and down in place when we stop moving she took off her seat belt and tried to open the door but cole beat her to it he opened the door and picked her up and was about to hand her to me but she wouldn't let go of him and i just said the he can hold her because she looks so happy in his arms and it made me think that maybe he can be a mele rolemodel to her and i just hope that one day maybe he and i can get together. when we finally got inside he sat her down and told ne and her that we can go find a place to sit and he would order the pizza and that is what we did and he came and sat with us he sat right next to me and he started a conversation with katie.
