After having lunch with Anny, Stephanie went to the office for the appointment she had with the clients of the building's sale, hoping that both parties could reach the agreement needed to sign the purchase agreement that would leave her with a million-dollar commission, as Michael had told her and as she herself had managed to deduce after making an approximate calculation of the property's price. She had not wanted to mention anything about this important deal to her parents or Anny, because in case it didn't happen, the last thing she wanted was for them to pity her or have false hopes with the money she could earn.
