Upon arriving at the apartment, Stephanie was grateful that Anny was already asleep and that, when she did, she slept more heavily than a hibernating bear, because at that moment she didn't feel in the mood to talk about what had just happened.
She went to the bathroom and took off the girdle, which was very uncomfortable for her. She thought about the little ones and how uncomfortable it must be for them.
