Relationship Zara's Pov After my, classes, I decided to go to Bea's condo. She early left the university because she's not feeling well so I want to check her. But I was puzzled when I saw her walking along with Mr. Gray. I thought she went home already? She texted me... My feet automatically followed their direction. Mr. Gray was muttering something to her, and she was just nodding repeatedly. I should ignore them, but I couldn't. Especially when I saw them walking through the non-crowded path. Without thinking twice, I stalked them. I knew there's something wrong. Bea is very open to me when it comes to her relationship. She wouldn't skip. And recently, she just told me that she was on dating again with this man that, she felt love at first sight. I just forgot to ask about it since my mind was too crowded by my ex-boyfriend stupidity. What I can only recall is that she told me that the guy was also from this school. Don't tell me it's Mr. Gray? No, it's impossible. Because if she is. She's screw. I saw them walking straigthly to the parking lot. I stopped in a widened eyes when she clung her hands on his arm before she whispered something on him. But my mind went blank when I saw him guiding her in his expensive car. What the...where are they going? Why did she come with him? I hid myself. I dialed her digits but she just ignored it! What is she thinking? "What are you doing?" I irritably looked at Red. He was standing beside the car that I was hiding in. Looks like he was already there even before I came. He walked near me. What is this bastard doing here? "Why are you here?" He asked while playing his keys. I couldn't tell him. I saw the car finally leaving. It passed on us, and I know they didn't see me because Red's broad silhouette was covering me. "Aren't you have a classes, Ms. Fredrich?" He playfully asked. If only if this bastard wasn't there, I can be able to follow them. "You are a f*cking a**hole!" I shouted. He paused because of my sudden burst before he barked in laughter. I glared at him before I walked away. That bastard is testing my patience! "Hey!" I rolled my eyes. He is so annoying. Now, I know why Bea is so annoyed with this guy. For the first time, I felt relieved when I saw my dad's car. I didn't message him to fetch me, but he was already there. "You done?" He asked. He opened the car's door for me. I saw Red on his back, smirking and leaning against the wall. He folded his arm and played his lips. He mouthed something, but it would take a lot of time and reasons for me to care. "Who is that boy?" Dad asked as soon as he sat down. He probably saw me looking at Red. "Don't mind him. He is stupid." I said. "Ha?" "Nothing." I shifted. "Is he one of your suitors?" "Dad please. Just drive. I want to go home." He silently drove. I didn't glance at Red anymore. When we got home, I immediately went to my room and locked myself in. I bit my lips while staring at the ceiling. I still haven't changed and all. I couldn't get over from what I saw. I peeked on my phone, but my bestfriend, still hasn't replied. I sat and stared at it. If she is really dating Mr. Gray, then it's a big problem. There's no single school institution that allowing students to have an intimate relationship with their professors! She's smart, so she must be aware to that! And that guy, I thought he is a honorable man, but I was only fooled by his looks! But what if I'm just overreacting? That maybe they're just close and good friends? Bea is an extrovert and very friendly person. She can be close to anyone. I was thinking about it when my phone beeped. I was expecting that it would be from Bea, but it's not. It's from an unregisterd number. I tapped my finger before reading it. ___ From: Unknown number I got your number. Save it. ___ Who is this? Before I could reply, my phone rang. It's from the unknown number! Who could this be? I never shared my number to just about anyone. I only stared at it until it ended. ___ To: Unknown number Who are you? Stop calling. ___ I typed in. But the owner was so persistent. My phone rang for the second time. I sighed and answered it. This should be important. "Who is this?" I couldn't hear anything, though. My brows furrowed when I only heard a hard and deep breathing from the other line. "Hey? Who is this? Where did you get my digits? I don't know you, so will you please stop calling and texting me?" But still no respond. What the hell is this person's problem? Is this a prank? "I said who is this--damn!" I almost had a heart attack when Dad knocked on the door. The caller finally ended the call. Bastard. "Zara? It's already late. You should eat your dinner. " I pinched my temple before opening the door. He's holding a tray with my food. There's a grilled chicken and cassava cake. "I'm not hungry." I said it without looking at him. "You still haven't changed." He pointed it out instead. He always sees everything about me. "I'll change later." "You should. Ah, here I bring your food. I cooked your favorite. You must not skip your meals." "You're already skinny." He jokingly added. "I said, I'm not hungry. Stop trying." I shut the door. I close my eyes tightly. He don't need to do this and that. He can leave me alone. My phone rang again. I grabbed it and immediately answered the call after Bea's name flashed on the screen. "Bea--" I was interrupted by her sobs. "Zara..." My eyes widened. "W-what happened? Where are you?" She didn't answer me, but I could hear loud music in her background. Is she inside a bar? "Bea?" "Zara--" Her line cut off. What happened? I tried to call her again but her phone were'nt responding. I didn't waste time, I grabbed my keys. It's almost midnight but I need to know where she is. She was crying so there's something might happened! I silently walked pass the living area. Dad was there though, sitting on the couch while watching on TV. I couldn't tell him because it's possible that he won't let me go so I just sneaked out. Luckily, I managed to locate Bea's location using her number. But I'm not sure if I should really call this lucky when I found myself in front of a familliar bar. The Infinity Bar still looks the old times. How can I forget this place? I once went here before. Why she's here? Out of all the people I know, she's the least that I'm expecting to come in a place like this. She doesn't like drinking. I checked myself in the side mirror. I was still wearing the dress that I wore to school earlier. It was looked fine for me. But the bouncer stopped me before I could even enter my one foot. I almost got bumped by his gigantic body. Damn! My poise got lost there! "Where is your pass?" he asked. Oh, I forgot. I went there once but I've never had that card. My ex-boyfriend had. "My friend is there. I need to get her. Don't worry, we will leave-- " He frowned. "No pass, no enter." I gritted my teeth. "But--" "I'm with her." I heard a familiar, husky voice. Before I could turn to see him, he was already standing like a tower beside me. He winked at me for a greet. What is he doing here? "Mr. Red! Long time no see!" The bouncer exclaimed. He was too excited because of the bastard. What's so special? "I didn't know you're with her." I felt insulted when the bouncer shamelessly scanned me and Red seemed enjoy it. The heck? They laughed. I rolled my eyes on them and decided to just go ahead and left them there. The bouncer let me in anyway. So that Red has the privilege here, huh? I was greeted by the familiar dazzling lights and the mixed smell of cigarettes and liquor. It's been what? Months? I thought I wouldn't come again to that kind of place because they're just making me remember my ex-boyfriend. All the more this place. This is where I catched him shamelessly kissing and touching the girl he replaced on me. I let my eyes wondered to the spacious place. It stopped to the man flirting and kissing a woman in a couch. I sighed and removed my eyes on them. 'Your ex isn't here, Zara' I breathe out. I went up to the stairs. Thinking that maybe I could see Bea if I search from above. There were some people from there, they just silently watching and drinking, which was very different from the wild people below. I gripped the bannister and turned my back on them. Now, how can I find Bea in this wide and crowded place?
