"He said my name?"
The old man nodded in response while his wife was still crying. I had the urge to remove her hands from me since it felt uncomfortable. But she distanced herself before I could do. A nurse came out and called them to enter. Brian's mom pulled me along with them, though.
The doctors and nurses were all smiling when we entered the room. I roamed my eyes on them, and they settled on the bed where Brian was lying. He was smiling and laughing with the jokes of the doctor on him. Is this for real?
Everyone expected that he would be comatose since it's not an ordinary accident, but in just a day, he recovered, and now he is laughing as if nothing happened on him? How the hell?
